Sometimes it's worth paying that bit extra and Princess certainly felt like that. Can't say enough good things about this cruise. It started with an easy embarkation. The lines moved swiftly through security. Dropped my bags off in my cabin and headed for lunch. We chose this itinerary as we wanted to do London (5 days prior) and the British isles. We had a standard balcony. It worked for us but I think I prefer the deluxe balcony with a bit more room. This was our first two week no-fly cruise and it didn't disappoint. The ease of embarkation is a big plus to start with. No hanging about in an airport lounge for your flight to be delayed or worse cancelled. Once you check in your holiday has begun.
