Cruise was okay but dealing with Princess is a nightmare

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Regal Princess

This was our first, and last Princess cruise. We have been on about 10 cruises and the support from Princess was non-existent. The cruise itself was okay. We had a great British Isles itinerary, booked our own excursions and had wonderful luck. The entertainment and options on board were great. The food was mediocre - hit or miss as to quality. Sometimes great, other times not really what I ...

So very bad

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Sky Princess

14 Day Cruise ended up with 8 days at sea unable to get into 3 ports out of 4. The ship was so crowded trying to find somewhere to sit was impossible as the upper deck was closed due very cold temperatures and high winds. These new ships are a joke all about creating small cabins to get more people on board this was my 12th cruise with Princess and probably my last. In future I will cruise on ...

Reason for Cruise: I want to explore United Kingdom. This was my first every trip visiting this region. Ports: This cruise took me to so many interesting cities. Sometimes you have to take a shuttle or train $10-$15 extra or $100 Princess Bus to the city. I had to pay an extra $100 for Princess to take me to Paris from Normandy Port. This is not just Princess but many cruise companies do this. ...

We have cruised with Princess pre-covid on Island & Sapphire so were looking forward to this holiday, but what a disappointment. Perhaps ships of this size are not for us, but we really struggled with the number of fellow passengers. Princess seem to have sacrificed public spaces for cramming on extra cabins. We heard many comments about the lack of available seats in bars / lounges ...

Worst Cruise Ever

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Island Princess

We chose this cruise for the destinations more specifically Israel and Ephesus. I had incorrectly assumed that due to no sailings during co-vid and that the ship had been in for refurb that it would be refreshed. This sadly was not the case. They installed their medallion system and removed the aft adult pool, hotter and bar area to make room for more cabins. The ship looked and felt tired, the ...

Sky Princess Sadly Not For Me

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Sky Princess

Firstly let me say this review is based entirely on my experience on board the Sky Princess, others will no doubt have different viewpoints to what follows. For me the ship is poorly designed - Everything seemed to take place on three decks 5,6 and 7 thus giving rise to the possibility of having 3500 people plus in just three areas at times. As always the staff were excellent and couldn't ...

This cruise did not live up to expectations.

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Sky Princess

We chose this cruise purely because of the itinerary, and the hope of seeing the Canadian fall. We had traveled on two previous Princess cruises, which we enjoyed. Unfortunately, this cruise was a big disappointment. There were some things that we liked: The cabin was clean and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed. Missing, however, were items such as a pen and paper, a bottle of water, ...

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Emerald Princess

I want to thank Princess Cruises for removing any desire I might have to go on future cruises after my experience on Emerald Princess. I was shocked at how bad the overall service was compared to the other dozen cruises we have been on. One example of poor service was the dining and beverage service. My wife and I ordered the Soda Package and to get a soda while you dined you had to tell a ...

Not What Should Be Expected

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Enchanted Princess

This was a back to back cruise on the Majestic Princess both leaving from Southhampton in September and then disembarking in New York starting in October of 2022. On this 22 day cruise the crew were always polite and tried to help. Problem was, that for most of them, this was their first cruise and had very little information of areas of the ship or even what was located where. Also, the public ...

High Expectations poor outcomes

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Enchanted Princess

Normally, we do not write reviews and on this transatlantic cruise we enjoyed our Cabin Steward and some of the entertainment staff. As I read some of the reviews I fully agree with the negatives concerning The World Market Place, and the poor WI-FI. We felt for one young woman who is a remote worker and she could not connect. And yes the Cruise Director made a joke of this. The main dining was ok ...
