We have just returned from a 4 day seacation and our experience was much better than previous reviews. From arrival at Southampton Docks we were on board in 90 mins with all coved tests completed. I cruised on the Sapphire to the Canary Islands this time last year. It was a great experience. The ship was then going onto Dubai and Singapore so I thought this year I’d do the London to Dubai leg through the Suez. Excellent choice of ports. Princess has good value and consistent and organized product. Food is excellent but occasionally disappoints. We chose this cruise because we liked the itinerary. The ports were fantastic! We did not use any princess excursions. I found independent tour companies on line. I highly recommend Butler's in Ireland, Uniquely Scotland (ask for Mark) and Spearhead tours at Le Havre (Florin is incredibly knowledgeable about D Day) .
