Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Enchanted Princess

This was by far the cheapest cruise I have been on as everyting tips, drinks, internet was throun in. It therefore attracted a lot of first timers who treated it like a Booze Cruise. The Pros : the staff.the front desk ,the buffet, the front desk when I got covid (they rang me every day to make sure that I got every thing I needed) The GYM was good and we never had to wait for a machine ...

Worse cruise ever

This cruise was going to Norway and Iceland for 14 nights. On arrival we were first given the wrong medallion then had to sit and wait to get on board. Once on board we went to our cabin Dolphin 443 all seemed nice and clean. but when we had a little bit of not quite so calm weather the cabin got very noisy and sounded like the ship was falling apart, I was awake most of the night on a few ...

Overall a good cruise apart from poor gluten and dairy free choices

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Emerald Princess

We chose this cruise as we live close to Southampton, did not want the hassle of airports, and it went to ports/ cities we had not visited. We are both gluten and dairy free and had advised Princess well in advance. We had sailed on the Pacific Princess 4 years ago with no problems. Unfortunately Princess are on a cost cutting mission which includes the brand of gluten and dairy free products they ...

British Isles Cruise - the one where Princess cuts costs at every possible place! I think there should be a law against saying it stops at say Dublin for example and then you have to find you way there at extra cost because your miles away. You need to factor extra spends such as £10 to Edinburgh, $20 le Harve, £13 Belfast, Dublin around £6 , Glasgow not sure as booked a tour here, same in Cork. ...

We have previously cruised on Diamond Princess which was fabulous and expected the same standard. How wrong we were. On our way to the port we got a txt to say embarkation was delayed until 3pm. Our checkin time was 11.30. So we went into town and paid to park and bought lunch.Tried to go to CPS car at 1pm and turned away and told of further delays a d come back at 3pm.. Into town again...Returned ...

Good bits; Embarkation very quick and professional. Ships decor top quality, has a rich feel in bars and main restaurants. Entertainment very good, comedians, bands, violinists, singers something for everyone most times. Service very good in bars and restaurants. Good itinerary around British Isles and Le Havre. Weather really good. Not so good; Food in main restaurant was ...

Is this really Princess ?

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Island Princess

This was my sixth cruise on Princess, and my 12th cruise over all. I chose this cruise because of the itinerary, never having been to Norway plus it was very Port intensive which I like. Having done my homework, I knew that island princess had been carved up into a Frankenstein ship to expand passenger capacity, adding 250 extra state rooms (she was the sister ship the coral ...

Not up to Princess Standards. Ship's design makes it hard for mobility challenged to get around. Captain should be disciplined.

Just back from the Norway fjords. Happy to be cruising again. But maybe it is still too early as the cruise lines ramp up again. First day out, the Captain said because the engines were not working right, we would be late to first port (apparently previous cruise the engines were not working right either). It did not seem like the ship has its full crew back. Certainly a shortage of servers in the ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Sky Princess

Let me preface this by saying that I've been on 14 cruises over the past 20 years and never felt the need to write a review, but the Sky Princess cruise of Norway from Jun 11 - Jun 25 was such a special kind of FUBAR that I couldn't let it pass. If I'm being honest, this isn't totally a rip on the Princess cruise line because many of the aspects like poor weather, mechanical issues, and acts ...

An Experience of Covid on Board

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Sky Princess

It promised to be a memorable cruise, and Norway didn’t disappoint at all. The slightly damp air was no problem, adding to the pure freshness of the air. On the sixth day I went down with covid and the following morning was isolated after a positive test and remained in isolation until the end of the voyage – it wasn’t seriously bad just a fever but disabling nonetheless. So a few words of what it ...
