At the end of one of our production shows. These are some talented people and the shows were very well orchestrated. Always got standing ovations.
On the first night, I dined solo in the Bordeaux Dining room. Very classy service, terrific food, and a varied menu.
Using both chairs, I was able to lounge quite comfortably on the patio.
Another look inside the thermal spa.

My girlfriend invited me for a get away and it was a good time just before Christmas and I had such a wonderful time, one to remember!!! I had a chance to model clothes, eat the best food and food that that was well seasoned, to see some real good ,awesome entertainment and fun activities. Will make Princess my next cruise line. I didn't have to see a bunch of kids. Love them but sometimes they ...

Not The Best Cruise Ship or Cruise

Review for Island Princess to Caribbean - Eastern

We chose this cruise at the last minute due to the very low price. Apparently this cruise was a 'late add' to the 2019 sailing schedule when the Island Princess did not go in for it's scheduled maintenance. There were 1,963 passengers, less then the full ship capacity of 2,100 guests. So there must have been several dozen empty cabins. We were not offered an upgrade. The Island Princess is ...

Ship in desperate need of refurb! ‘Tired’ an understatement.

Positives: excellent service, delicious food in MDR, entertainment good. Staff were friendly and courteous for the most part and we enjoyed chatting with them. Negatives: ship in dire need of reburbishments. Common areas extremely dated and worn. Cabins tired, but more surprisingly dirty due to cloth on headboard as an example being stained. Seating in public areas also looks dirty due to being ...

Classic Lovely Ship But Service Needs Upping

My husband and I tried Princess for the very first time for this unusual 4-night cruise. We did it because we’re considering it for the Panama Canal. So this was a test. Princess had one chance to impress us and, well . . . for us, their customer service did not wow. We have been Royal Caribbean and Carnival people for 15 cruises over the past decade (mostly Royal). We also took one Disney ...

Short Cruise

We wanted as short cruise before the Holidays and this fit the bill. It was quite unexpectedly an inexpensive cruise and as the price dropped, our agent was able to get us a refund and then an upgrade to a midship balcony. The ship is older and was built to sail through the old Panama locks, but she is very well kept. The balcony room was a bit smaller than other Princess ships We have sailed on, ...

Lovely Mini Suite 4 day Getaway

This was a quick cruise with 1 port - Amber Cove. The Island Princess was a beautiful ship, decorated everywhere for Christmas and the crew was fantastic everywhere we turned. The ship... The ship was in wonderful condition...the only imperfection I noticed was in our stateroom where they had obviously changed out artwork on a wall for a wall mounted large flatscreen TV....you can still see ...

No more vibration on Island!

We just returned from the 4 day cruise on Island 12-16/20. Shortest cruise we have ever been on. Island is a beautiful ship and the last of Princess's great mid size ships. FIRST - we walked all around deck 6 aft (which was empty of passengers) and there is NO VIBRATION! Finally it has been fixed. We did not expect a whole lot of the trip, but they put on two of the most amazing production ...

Short cruise to Elite status

I could not resist the rates on this 4 day cruise to achieve Elite status. Settled into a cabin on PR deck aft. Loved the location close to exit doors directly onto Promaneade deck. First time on this ship since 2013, and the refit. Really missed the full PR deck. It was almost as though I had never cruised this ship before, Explorers Lounge - gone. All kids' clubs are now aft, along with ...

Beautiful Cruise on Island Princess

Review for Island Princess to Caribbean - Eastern

This was our first time on a Princess Cruise Line ship. Our short trip was to Cozumel and back. The Island Princess is a great choice. A medium-sized ship that still provided a lot of quiet spaces. We hardly spent any time in our room because of the full selection of shipboard activities. The food in both the personal service and buffet dining areas were excellent. The chefs deserve a ton of ...
