Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We’ve had 18 cruises mostly with Celebrity. We booked Princess for the itinerary and as we were travelling with friends ( there first time) we decided on Caribbean Princess. Did not look at the age of the ship nor read reviews. We’ve always had great holidays with Celebrity (now we use the saying NOT-to fix something that wasn’t broken).. and Celebrity were coming home… NEVER USE PRINCESS ...

The service was great and the crew were very attentive. Lots of people work on the ship and they tried very hard to please. The cabin steward kept our room clean. The waiters were very nice and did a good job. The food and entertainment were not that great. The dinner food was better than the food available in the buffet and room service, but none of it was that tasty. The specialty restaurants ...

The last time we cruised on Princess was a wonderful Panama cruise in 2017. After that, we decided we were done with cruising for a while until last fall when I saw a cruise leaving Galveston, 7 nights, Western Caribbean. It was in our budget, so we reserved a balcony cabin. The ship is very beautiful inside, but overall the cruise was quite disappointing, mostly due to the poor quality of ...

Again we started this trip with a drive to Boca Raton and a night at the Holiday Inn Express Boca Raton West. Upon arrival it was raining, so we stopped at Greenwise Market and bought salads for dinner then went back to the hotel to eat in the breakfast area. In the morning we drove 45 minutes to the cruise port arriving at 9:30 a.m.. We were aware that we would be embarking at pier 21 and ...

Best way to experience the Panama Canal!

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Emerald Princess

First Time Cruiser • Age 60s

We are Long time Holland American Cruisers that took this cruise with Princess due to the timing and destination. Room: This obstructed view is fine from the view standpoint, it is at the top of the stairs from the promenade, but that was not an issue. The first 4 rooms on this deck including this one are narrower than other rooms and also have the really annoying feature of having two ...

Third and last cruise with princess

This has our 17th cruise (not all with Princess) so we are not new to cruise ships. This was the worst cruise of all and we will not be sailing with Princess again. Sorry Princess but your services on the cruise have ruined it for us. The first day, we went on the ship tour and went up to the Lotus Spa. I asked about using the sauna/steam room and was told by the female attendant the there would ...

Review for a Asia Cruise on Diamond Princess

We did the 14 day Asia cruise on the Diamond Princess leaving from Singapore on 5th January and travelling to Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. We chose this trip as we had done a 3 week back to back cruise back in 2016 on the sister ship, the Sapphire Princess which we loved, in particular the Atrium feature of these ships which provide a lovely meeting place for groups to meet up at. The ...

Antarctica! A dream destination!!

Review for a Antarctica Cruise on Sapphire Princess

The Sapphire Princess is in very good shape for an “older” ship. Sure, there were some stains on carpets and chips on tile, but on a whole I was very impressed. We enjoyed the fact that this Princess ship still maintains a full wide wrap-around Promenade deck (with only the need to go up and down a flight at the bow.) Embarkation: the worst ever. Princess was not prepared for this, although ...

What made this trip was the itinerary!!! I liked that we didn’t have to sign after each purchase with the uncomfortable feeling of needing to tip extra with our special drink and dining package. The ship didn’t feel crowded even though it was at full capacity. The ship was clean and staff was great. Carpets in halls need to be changed or shampooed. My room needed updated blow dryer. My mom had a ...
