Buenos Aries. Embarkation was a nightmare. The cruise terminal was destroyed by a storm 4 weeks ago. Princess has not adequately responded. If you have a Princess transfer you will be taken care of. Everyone Else waited in long line in the sun. I was in a wheelchair and line took 3 hours and 20 minutes. No English speaking Princess employees to even explain what was happening. No signs to ...

An Awesome 30-Day South American Adventure!

Review for a Antarctica Cruise on Sapphire Princess

I can't say enough words about how great our 30-day B2B cruise to South America was, which included 4 days cruising around the Antarctica Peninsula as well as visiting the huge Iceberg A23a and Elephant Island. We were fortunate enough to have booked an aft-facing Vista Suite with the weather fully cooperating, where we didn't miss one port due to rough seas or high winds. We of course dined ...

Amazing cruise of Antarctica/South America

I chose this cruise to celebrate my 40th birthday. It was myself and my parents. We ended up in a Family Suite ( see below) and we got to enjoy all of the perks of the suite benefits. Embarkation/Disembarkation: Embarkation to Valparaiso was a breeze. Princess was very helpful at the Santiago airport and we had no trouble at the terminal. We did have to be shuttled from terminal to cruise ship ...

We chose this cruise as was in the tail end of the school holidays for us and it left from our hometown of Auckland and came back to Auckland. This was a joint cruise which already had people who had boarded in Sydney and who disembarked when we hit our second port of Sydney. Once there, another load of people embarked. The organisation of those of us in transit in Sydney was much better ...

OK, but not great

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Island Princess

We chose the Half World cruise as a way to escape winter and to get to the Arab countries where we wanted to tour. Cruising is always pleasant and so my rating is relative to other cruises we've done. Generally the food was ok (what you might expect at Denny's) and the ride not to bad (for us) even when the seas were rough. But nothing was impressive and the entertainment was VERY lame. You can ...

I went solo on this cruise and there was a great group of people who organized several activities such as a gift exchange, duck painting and a slot pull. Cabin steward was good and there were plenty of activities. The Retreat pool was the best and I enjoyed the Enclave. Also had speed painting which was a fun idea. There were 4 different comedians on a 7 day cruise and the production shows were ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We’ve had 18 cruises mostly with Celebrity. We booked Princess for the itinerary and as we were travelling with friends ( there first time) we decided on Caribbean Princess. Did not look at the age of the ship nor read reviews. We’ve always had great holidays with Celebrity (now we use the saying NOT-to fix something that wasn’t broken).. and Celebrity were coming home… NEVER USE PRINCESS ...

A Mixed Bag

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Regal Princess

User Avatar

Our weeklong cruise on the Regal Princess to Mahahual (Costa Maya), Mexico; Roatan, Honduras; and Cozumel, Mexico was a mixed experience. The new Princess app and the website were both frustratingly difficult to navigate. The public areas of the ship were spacious and beautiful, living up to the ship’s name. However, throughout the cruise there was poor sanitation in the public restrooms, ...
