I should have listened to my wife...I wouldn't take it again if it were free.

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Regal Princess

From the moment I saw the website I knew something was up. It doesn't look like any other. Then I saw the app. I should have put my credit card away. The app is a disaster. The cruise was a disaster. Nothing worked. The Princess Promise means no promise kept. Spa- 2 out of 3 saunas didn't work intermittently. The pool would work for a short time and quit. Not relaxing. The food? Fail. ...

Not the dream vacation we expected!

Friends we knew were going on this cruise and we thought it would be fun to join them! Since we had never cruised with Princess before we were up for an adventure. Unfortunately, this cruise was not what we expected. From attempting to sign up through their "medallion" device (which did not work) to their shipboard activities that actually closed down at 10:00 pm., almost everything was a ...

This was a family celebration that ended up being a nightmare. So many horrible things happened. Do not go on a Princess Cruise. The systemic problems are not outweighed by some of the nice crew. My $9,000 stateroom was a disaster – no heat or hot water for the first 3 days of the cruise. Black goo came out of the tub jacuzzi jets. The noise of the engines was really bad. A homeless person ...

Bought a transfer from the Miami airport to the ship, but wound up having to pay for a taxi drive to get to the ship. Then they wouldn't reimburse me with cash but onboard credit. One of the port of calls was cancelled. Got injured while getting off the tender in Panama. Was not offered the chance to cancel the excursion and get my money back. Lastly came in at least one hour late for ...

This is a new ship which just started sailing in October-November 2021 due to the Covid lockout. It's spotless, showing no wear. Our sailing was only at 40% of passenger capacity, so there were no lines for anything. The staff was great being happy to draw a salary again. The shows were dismal, a magician and a electronic show. Don't waste your time. Main dining room food was adequate to ...

I have never cruised on Princess before, but had always heard they were a "cut above" most others, so I wanted to try them. This was a 10-night cruise that went to Cartagena, SA, and I had never been there before, so I was very excited. The itinerary started out going to the Cayman Islands, Cartagena, Panama Canal, Cristobal, Costa Rica, and Jamaica. A few months before the start date, the ...

Just a Mess!

We have always wanted to see the Panama Canal & the city of Cartagena was also of interest, so the itinerary seemed ideal. However, it was a terrible experience. Rude staff in Guest Services (an oxymoron if ever I heard one) where we were given misinformation and an attitude. An “upgraded” cabin with a leaking sink that flooded the bathroom. Only took 1 1/2 days to get this fixed. At least the ...

Disappointing Cruise

We chose this cruise to see the islands Jamaica, Panama Canal, Cayman Islands , Columbia, and Costa Rica. Unfortunately due to rough water and Corona Virus scare we could only see Columbia and Costa Rica. This was very disappointing and the water was very rough going from Fort Lauderdale in Florida to Jamaica causing many people to get motion sickness and was the main reason for our ship not ...

This is a senior citizen cruise and should be advertised as such. Pros: • The room steward & most of the staff was friendly. • The cabins were decent. Cons: • No events to do for younger people • The showers in the cabin seem smaller than usual. The balcony was filthy. • The food is terrible and the menus are too complicated • Some staff was not so friendly. Even had ...

I gave this cruise a rating of terrible because there was no lower rating to choose. Because I worked 42yrs in an industry that did not allow for the number of days away needed this was our first opportunity to go on my husbands dream trip. The Panama Canal. Originally we were going to choose the 16 day version of this cruise until we found out that all the ports of call on the first half of ...
