Pros: Clean ship The Buffet area well staffed and friendly. Jorge at the “Seaview Bar” on pool deck. Only friendly bartender we had. Overall crew was friendly. Angel at Guest Services was the best! Nice lounge areas (but read the cons about this). Best cruise ship bed ever. Large closet Salty Dog on pool deck was the best food all week. Hot and freshly cooked as ...

Norovirus and poor food

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We had saved for this trip of a lifetime and it was shocking. We were told the boat had been deep cleaned and it was perfectly safe to travel as the norovirus was no longer an issue. This could have been no further from the truth. Within two days passengers were vomiting with diarrhoea. As you walked to your cabin you could smell both. People were very poorly and they tried to play it down my ...

This cruise line will nickel and dime you to death. My recommendation would be to find an all inclusive line. This ship is in dire need of mechanical repair. not to just paint over rust to hide it from uninformed tourists. The carpet is stained the walls need painting . The entire ship needs an upgrade. Choose another one, preferably one where you know all charges before you leave the port. One ...

The best entertainment and food!

From start to finish, this cruise was so much fun! Check-in was a breeze. Our luggage was delivered quickly. We went right to dinner. There was top-notch entertainment every night. If you were bored, it was your own fault. There is so much to do in this ship. The Crown Grill steakhouse was fabulous. The filet mignon, New York Strip steaks and Porterhouse steaks were the best we've ever had. All ...

We wanted to get out of the cold so we booked the Crown Princess to the Caribbean. Our first sign that things weren't going well was that no one could sign onto the Medallion.net to get the internet and free wi-fi that was advertised. After an hour and a half wait and one cruise member helping, we finally got it. Before I go any further, let me say this was our 24th cruise. Our room had NO ...

Disappointed!

Got invited to uncle's 75th birthday. Food was hit and miss. Buffet was repetitious. Recycling most of the food. I know because I'm a cook. Service was excellent by hardworking maybe underpaid crews. Wifi was too expensive, so was pop, alcohol, more like highway robbery. Coffee and teas were free at breakfast time, other times you have to pay. On our beach excursions we were served hotdogs and ...

REALLY DEPENDS ON YOUR AGE

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Emerald Princess

We are in our late 40's and we are a very active couple. Sitting around and watching movies is not our forte'. The entertainment on this cruise was horrible. When you have 8 days of "Sea Days" and the most exciting thing for that day is going to a lecture about arthritis, something is wrong with that cruise line! I would not recommend Princess for our age group. We were so ready to get off ...

We booked this cruise as part of our community cruise. Expected to have many beach days, had only one! Having seen Princess Cay yet after cruising with Princess once before. One excursion badly deccribed and hated. Missed two stops that we had beach days schedule. Not enough seating for number of passengers on ship. Gave up many days trying to find a seat and went to cabin and sat on balcony. ...

Bad food in the dining room. Service was not much better!

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We chose this cruise to see the new locks of the Panama Canal which we did. We were on the same cruise ship in August and it was very good. New chef, captain, and cruise director made it a poor cruise. Main problem was the food in the dining room. Awful. Cruise director liked to hold everything in the center of the cruise ship which was not large enough for dance lessons and dancing at night. ...
