First Big Princess Disappointment

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Emerald Princess

We had the Panama Canal on our bucket list. Since we sailed many times with Princess (Platinum members) we chose the Emerald Princess even tho it was an older updated ship. There were so many issues. Our room C604 was always warm. We talked to the desk and room attendant and while courteous and encouraging it remained warm for the whole 10 days. We paid for drink package but we’re told every day ...

We have sailed on many cruises and took this one because it has been a goal to see the Panama Canal and this one ended in San Francisco, an hour from home. From our first day on board it was clear that Princess has made cutbacks in all aspects of their operations. Limited cabin service, worn and or dirty cabin and balcony furniture, reduced options, quality and portions of food, limited ...

was onboard for 23 days and went to eastern carib week prior to 16 day transatlantic crossing....We skipped saint thomas due to too many cases of covid onboard and overnighted in saint maarten but was docked with 6 other ships. Super busy port. During the 16 day transatlantic we had no internet whatsoever. They mentioned it had something to do with changing from one satellite to another. Skipped ...

Ship was beautiful and very clean. Food was not the best, entertainment not the best, and service was terrible.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Regal Princess

I have cruised on Holland america, Disney, Celebrity, and Royal Caribbean but never on Princess. I heard so many great things about Princess that I decided to try. Our cruise was five nights to the Caribbean. The service was just horrible. I have no idea why because there seemed to be enough staff. The staff did not seem happy, not a lot of smiles. For instance, i asked for extra dressing ...

We had some extra credits after rescheduling our cancelled European cruise from 2019 so we found this 5 day cruise on a good deal. It was a shorter cruise with only 2 ports but being first time cruisers and knowing we had the same ship booked for Europe in July we thought it would be a great way to familiarize ourselves with the Regal. The cruise started rough with some poor guidance at the ...

Disappointing

Chose this cruise for the ship and for the ports. The Ports were great (be aware, Grand Turk excursions were cancelled) St.Kitts and St.Thomas were wonderful and the excursions were on. The Ship - Ouch... Not ready to cruise. So the two specialty dining "Seafood and BBQ" located at the back of L15 were closed the entire cruise, we were not previously notified of this. The entire ship, ...

Close if not the worst cruise experience ever. We have been on many cruises, Holland American, Disney, Celebrity, Carnival, Royal Caribbean Norwegian, Viking and Brendan. This is our second Princess experience but our first during COVID. However the COVID protocols had nothing to do with our poor experience it was all related to level of service. First let’s start with the positives. The ...

We chose this cruise as a test run, we are booked on a repo in Oct & decided we would see how it was to cruise. This cruise was out of FL, so we could drive to the embarkation. The price was right so we thought we would give it a try. I will start out with the pluses. The ship had about 1250 passengers or 45% of capacity. There was never any waiting or space issues. Embarkation went ...

I know will all that is going on in the world today there is much that is changed. However, we pay the same and get shortchanged... We were tested 4 times, still had to wear masks, fine, I get it. Ship was at less than 50%, sadly this also meant you got 50% of the service. Some staff went above and beyond, other areas of the ship were very lacking in service. Large dining area on floor 15 ...

Well, let's see, where to start. We had tremendous problems with the Princess Medallion App, which is the only way to check in. Somehow my wife end up with two different profiles (I called them "good wife" and "bad wife") When I added her to my app, I now had 2 different traveling companions. Despite numerous calls to customer support, for several weeks no one was able to fix the problem. One can ...
