Western Caribbean

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Regal Princess

We chose this cruise because we had just gone to Alaska on the Grand Princess and thought the Western Caribbean would be warm and fun. Well, it was exactly that!! Embarkation was a breeze, they even let us on the ship earlier than expected. We took the red eye from CA to Ft Lauderdale (big mistake). We arrived at 5am, but were told we would not be able to get on the ship until noon at the ...

A great cruise for a large ship

Princess has consistently delivered excellent experiences for us. We just wanted a get away in the sun and to de-stress. Pricing was good so we took the Regal. We found the entertainment absolutely great. The quality of the bands and performers was probably the best we have seen. The Piazza was really neat. This is where the big ship shows itself off. All the usual princess spaces were ...

Nice room, bad location

Nice ship. Clean and new. Staff was very nice and helpful. Shows on this sailing appeared to be above average. Cruise Director and Staff were superior in every way. However, the ship does not have enough covered out side areas to relax in. Most areas are in direct sunlight, nice if you like to be in the sun all the time. if you like to take morning walks the jogging track is to small and ...

We chose this cruise because we had never been to the islands of Aruba, Bonaire & Curacao before. We arranged all our airport transfers and excursions with Princess and all covered the highlights and best of what the island had to offer - from a tour of the island and time at the beach in Aruba to a distillery and aloe farm tour on Curacao. But I would say the highlight was our catamaran ride and ...

Great time - ABC Cruise!

Prior to booking AND prior to going on board, we knew the ship is scheduled for refurb in the Spring 2018. We honestly don’t know why people are complaining about the condition of the ship when this is public knowledge. Sure, some areas of the need carpet updating and, sure, the cabin needs a new look, but none of these esthetics hindered our cruise whatsoever. This is our sixth cruise, first with ...

This being our 23rd. cruise with Princess we were looking for a quick nothing special holiday to the ABC islands. It's much better now that you are at the islands for a full day rather than the 1/2day schedules in the past. We had perfect weather for the 8 day cruise. Overall you get what you pay for on the Crown. Now that Princess has gone back to 2 shows a night at close to an hour each ...

the staff were all very much into a great cruising experience for the passengers. the cruise director Corey was on top of his game with providing a fun time the whole cruise. The ABC islands were enchanting and welcoming. the seas were like glass and the food was as good as the nightly entertainment. Boarding and disembarkation were smooth, just like they always are.The ship is clean and the only ...

We chose Princess because we did cruise with them before and loved the ships. This time, I found everything about Princess to be only adequate. I think the ship needs a bit of an overhaul and they need to upgrade their dining experiences. the pool areas were nice. I did like the big screen where we could watch movies but they played the same music everyday over and over again. I was not ...

Great sail from Ft Lauderdale to the Southern Carribean

This was a graduation and anniversary celebration cruise. Our daughter graduated from school and we were celebrating our 35th. The Crown Princess is a clean and well run ship with a crew who is willing to serve people in their good and not so good moods. Our cabin was clean, the dining room and waitstaff were excellent....great service and they treated us as family. The activities onboard ...
