Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Caribbean Princess

Awful experience with MedallionClass App. Ruined the whole trip for me. Spent hours trying to upload information needed prior to cruise. App did not work and found out later that most others had the same experience. Also had problems with App while on board. Many times it would not work at all. Line at Guest Services and Excursions desk was outrageous throughout cruise due mostly ...

Caribbean Princess Cruise, June 11-18, 2022 My wife and I have been on a total of 15 cruises and just completed our 10th Princess cruise. When we selected Princess as our primary cruise line we were always satisfied and always recommended Princess to family and friends, until this cruise. It has been three years since our last cruise due to family illness/deaths and the Pandemic. We were ...

Disappointed with this ship for second time.

So this was our second voyage on Caribbean Princess. The first was right before it was refurbished (2017 or 2018, can't recall exactly). That experience was ok, but disappointing only in it was an unexpected step down from the Regal and Royal Princess ships that we had previously loved. Now, we are Platinum with Princess Captains Circle, and we had a free week coming in June. So we decided ...

Poor Medallion on board, worst experience with toilet, worst experience with after sail customer service

We took the cruise in lieu of the Alaska cruise booked in 2019 that was cancelled due to Covid. We got credit instead of a refund (which was a bad decision) but were told the credit will expire by the end of 2022. We opted to go to Western Carribean and upgraded our room to one with a balcany. It is the most expensive cruise we have taken so far - over $3K spent for a 7 day cruise for two but it ...

We choose. this cruise because of the price, we had been on the Princess in November 2021 and on Holland America in February 2022 and felt very secured in not getting COVID 19 everyone was required to wear masks when indoors, ,and you had to be fully vaccinated. So when we saw the price for this cruise we decided to take it.This cruise you had to be fully vaccinated but where not required to wear ...

I booked a penthouse suite on the Caribbean Princess as friends kept telling my I needed to try Princess (I'm Platinum Plus on NCL). What a mistake. Their "priority" boarding is nothing but a cattle call - stood in line 1/2 an hour to check in. Suite was smaller than I expected and the balcony was nothing like it was described as on their website. Had two chairs with stools when the web site ...

Wow, has Princess changed. Smoking is now allowed in the Casino. The result is a stale smoke smell throughout the midship area on level 5,6 and 7, and in the midship elevators. Unhappy staff and I think that was due to a full ship with insufficient staff members. Restaurant and bar service was lacking. As far as food in the buffet....it was the same every day. I felt like I was being served ...

We had toilet issues, calling 3 times for issues ongoing with flushing and noise. The Medillion didn’t work well and it was the topic of several crew members, including the cruise director and the comedians. We were paying for this service. Food was just ok nothing special. Only 2 of the specialty restaurants were open all cruise and were booked solid so no reservations could be made. ...

Poor Crew Attitude

In most all departments I got the impression that I was "in the way" of the crew. Perhaps they were understaffed and stressed but that does NOT make for a pleasant atmosphere for the passengers. Compared to the MSC cruise line staff it was night and day. I look forward to my next cruise with MSC. The dining rooms were so understaffed I chose to eat in the buffet. The buffet food was ...

Everything was cut back & the food turned the cruise into a flop

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Island Princess

Someone in corporate decided to cut back on the food quality & menu options. The Dining Room menu was changed and striped of the better options, i.e., steak, sea bass., etc., and replaced with pasta & salmon. Dining Room was poor, and we could not hack it even three times, of our 33 days on the ship - all were flops and had to be sent back or a changed order. BOTH specially dinning, steak & ...
