Panama delight

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Island Princess

this was our first platinum cruise with princess and a great experience. Embarkation was smooth and efficient and we were on board and settled well before we would usually have been.- definitely worth persevering with the loyalty program! the itinerary was just what we needed - a mixture of islands and mainland destinations with Panama as the ultimate focus. En route Cartagena was delightful - ...

Small ship

I wanted to do a Panama Canal cruise. I would never choose the Island Princess again. The hallways to the rooms were very narrow & the bathrooms & showers were very, very small. Much smaller than any other cruise ship I've been on. The shower head in the tiny shower was fixed to the wall. All other shower heads I've ever had could be removed to spray hard to reach areas. I'll never step foot on ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Regal Princess

Having previously sailed only Disney {4 cruises}, we were looking for a similar level of service, style of cruising, food, style of ship. Regal Princess did not disappoint! Although instead of 1000’s of children, it was 1000’s of retired folk! Entertainment and theming were obviously not comparable, and I missed the rotational dining offered on Disney. Our room was an aft balcony just under the ...

Nice vacation but lacking some things

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Regal Princess

Chose this cruise for the price and it’s ports. I had only travelled on Holland America one time previously, so this was my second cruise. I thought the ship was beautful, and the dining options were very good. All the public areas are very welcoming and nice. There are plenty of bars. There was very little entertainment to appeal to the majority of people during the day. The evening ...

For the money, Princess is a great product. You have to know what you’re getting. Here is my review in Pros and Cons Pros - Nice mini suite layout. Very functional. Plenty of storage. - Food was good, not great. Very good at times. But good enough. - Lots of fun! Entertainment was great, and something is always going on until late. - Embarkation was a snap with the ...

Wine Packages and White Zinfandel

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Regal Princess

We just got off this ship on 24 Feb, we have sailed about 6 times on the Regal and are Elite members with Princess. Princess in their wisdom have done AWAY with the oh so popular wine packages, and no longer have White Zin on their wine list. Well since this is the only wine we drink that left us with NO WINE for us on the ship. The wine list has become so extensive and confusing that we would ...

This was our first cruise and we would change up a few things. Paid for two drink packages. Didn't even get close to using the maximum. Waste of money Went on an excursion @ every port. Time wasted in " hurry and wait in line" I would only book a couple and definitely look check to see if the boat can dock or if you have to get transported in by boat. Don't book if you have to boat ...

To get out of cold weather and enjoy the sun and warmth of the Caribbean. This cruise was on a ship with the implementation of the latest Princess marketing project. The Mediallion. The implementation was very weak, and the only real benefit was the excellent internet service. Although to receive the full benefit you must purchase the service with unlimited time. Then it will be like using your ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Crown Princess

We wanted to visit at least 5 ports, and the Crown Princess had a good itinerary. The Crown Princess embarkation and disembarkation was very smooth and fast. No waiting at all. The ship was clean and fairly easy to maneuver. We had a mini-suite on the 9th deck, Dolphin Good size, small bathroom, ok storage. Veranda does not have a cover. The veranda above can see the entire balcony. Shows were ...
