I chose this cruise because I am an Elite customer and would like to enjoy some perks.
Embarkation is always along wait for a wheelchair. Once you obtain one, the rest goes rather smoothly.
Disembarkation was a dream. 20 minutes from my cabin to the sidewalk including customs.
The wait time for "my time dining" was very long between 630p and 730p each evening.
We waited 1 hour each ...
I am a long time Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruiser and have always loved to cruise. I won this cruise from a local casino and took our two 6 year old kids. We booked air through Princess. From the start it was a bad experience. First they incorrectly booked air travel for the wrong dates not once but three times it took me over 3 hours of call time to get it straight. They told me that the room ...
We chose this cruise to spend time with my dad. Had been to the ports before, so the ship experience was most important. Having been on Grand Princess and Regal Princess, I was aware of the quality that Princess can provide. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the very slow service in the dining room at dinner each night. We had to ask for ice tea every night, as well as refills. Previous ...
First off let me say that we have done 25+ cruises and most of them have been on Princess. We took this cruise as a extended family cruise with one toddler at age three. 2 adults in their 30's and 4 adults in their 50's.
The ship was recently renovated and it showed in some areas such as the buffet. Both of the specialty resturants located with in the buffet were used at breakfast and lunch as ...
We were looking for a get-away and Princess is always a good bet. Itinerary was so so. Stateroom C406 balcony was very good. Well placed. Excellent embarkation. Quick and professional. Room was ready. Bags arrived at 2 pm. Excellent steward. Always had fresh ice. No production show 1st nite. Excellent show “Bravo” 2nd nite. Good ship nite activities. Buffet “Marketplace” 3/10 on a good day. ...
7 day Southern Caribbean. Ship feels old and outdated. Elevators are very slow and cannot accommodate the many summer passengers. Casino is too small and cannot accommodate all gamblers. Although, they had a craps table. They get a star for that one. It is a reoccurring theme with this ship. Food was standard for a average cruise ship. No wonderful meals like I had on Holland. The ports ...
We chose this cruise because we liked the 10 nights to some of the islands we have visited before. My wife and I have cruised on the Caribbean Princess 5 times. We really like all of our other cruises on this ship. Everythinng was really good. This time though was really bad for us. Entertainment was sub-par for us. After seing some of the shows and entertainers, I think I will come up with ...
We picked this ship because liked the itinerary and length of the cruise.
Embarkation and disembarkation were excellent.
All of the cruise staff was excellent!
Could have had more activities on the ship.
Most of the entertainment was very good.
The dining in the dining room was very good as were the wait staff.
We were extremely disappointed with the changes in the Buffet. Much ...
Princess had initially refused to give us a 'real' refund for shore excursion that Princess cancelled. The last port of call Le Havre on the day before disembarkation, was cancelled due to high winds. Consequently the shore excursions at this port were cancelled and Princess would refund passengers for the cancelled excursions. As we had used onboard credits to purchase the excursions, what we ...
Good food and service but liquor and wine prices are high. Our room steward was the best so far. Princess stopped doing Happy Hours. That means higher drink prices and fewer chances to hang out with new friends. The food menu continues to be cheapened with better, more expensive items replaced with cheaper options.
Both embarkation and debarkation were superb. They were really fast and ...
