First time on Princess Cruises, maybe our last

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Caribbean Princess

This cruise was not all that bad but it wasn't all that great either. Past Princess cruisers we met on board asked us to give Princess another go. We cruise based mainly on highest value - lowest price for high quality. Pros: The cruise went to three places we had not yet visited, Bermuda, Ireland, and Cornwall. We arranged our own excursions and would use these tour groups again. For ...

The first couple of days were rough, starting with embarkation, which was delayed and slow as could be when it actually got started. That was unusual for Princess, but the ship just got out of dry dock and had some.issues. There was water on the stateroom floor and very loud noises keeping us awake, however Princess took care of the problems and moved us to a different stateroom which turned out ...

We sailed out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and since we live in Florida we didn't go until time to board the ship, the Caribbean Princess. We were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Our cabin was nice but not as large as some others we've had, but we did have a nice balcony so that made up for the size of the cabin. Our cabin steward Wilson was attentive. We were treated great! The ...

Disappointing

We chose this cruise because we like the transatlantic cruises and the ports of call this cruise offered. There were quite a few issues on this cruise as it was just coming off of dry dock and a lot of things were overlooked. The front desk staff, in general, were rude to customers and not knowledgeable. Even laughed at customers questions and seemed put off that they had to be bothered. Think ...

Overall We were Very Pleased!

We received an email stating that boarding would be delayed and not to arrive until 5:00 pm. Since we live close, this wasn't a problem. We did show up a little earlier as a friend said that they boarded with no problem. Our boarding was seamless. Our cabin was great, E222, very convieniently located. It was a little more forward than we prefer, but motion wasn't an issue at all. It is ...

Transatlantic on Caribbean Princess Post Dry Dock

We were on the CP for the transatlantic after it came out of drydock. We have been on the CP twice before, and thought I'd post my opinion of some of the changes, good and bad. Hits - New beds very comfortable, new layout for buffet area and it's much easier to get around, better wifi coverage on ship (although it's still not very fast), movie screen by pool much brighter and clearer picture, ...

Great Customer Service and Food

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Regal Princess

We picked this cruise due to it's low price and Germany destination. The Captain went out of his way to provide great service. The complementary Champagne and end of cruise parties had plenty of waiters and drinks, something not always found on Princess ships. The food was exceptional though I wish Princess would reduce the amount of salt in food, especially their soups. Our waiters Archie, ...

Decided to take a short cruise mid year before our 15 day transatlantic in October and wanted to visit a couple of ports we actually haven't been to. There aren't many left. So we chose this one since it visited Roatan and Belize - new to us. We were a bit hesitant about the April date as it was still spring break for some and that is not our ideal time to cruise because of the large amount of ...

Great Cruise

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Regal Princess

We chose this cruise over the other transatlantics because of the ship. We sailed on the Regal once before and felt it would be the a great ship to spend the sea days on. The price for the journey was an excellent value and the ports of call were worth visiting. Although the amount of time in the ports was way to short to get the full experience, it was a great way to decide if we would visit ...

We were in Balcony Riviera 703....lovely room, without a sofa, and great balcony. However, I picked one that vibrated constantly....not terribly and you do did get used to it. It was beside the back stairway/elevators and super location but because of the motors it vibrated..... My mistake. The bathroom was tiny but was totally adequate. Ladies if you need to shave your legs, put a foot on the ...
