Loved this cruise!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Crown Princess

We chose this cruise because we had never visited Aruba, Bonaire, or Curacao and had heard good things about them. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit on each island and found that each had distinctive personalities bound together by a similar Dutch influence. We would visit again in a heartbeat! The weather was perfect! Highest temperature was 81 degree and very low humidity. Ideal! The Crown ...

I have never been to the ABC islands before so this itinerary appealed to me. The Crown was heading to dry dock after my cruise and it's apparent that it is needed! Everything seemed dated. The Horizon Court food was lack luster and in need of revamping the selections. The burger I had at the Trident was bland, no taste, processed flat patty, and they didn't even melt the cheese on it, just threw ...

Incredible Internet speeds

We have done about 8 Princess Cruises and take 2 Caribbean cruises each winter to get away from the Canadian cold. We thoroughly enjoy the shipboard experience so the ports are of less importance to us. The Regal was just retrofitted with the Ocean Medallion equipment. The best side benefit of this change was that Princess advertised the fastest internet at sea and they were certainly correct. On ...

Time frame and itinerary fit our needs. First time on the Crown. Not bad for an 18 year old vessel. Some rust on the balcony. Understand she is due for dry dock for scheduled maintenance. Room steward was great. Met every request for our special needs kids. Dining staff was truly outstanding. The wait staff in Sabatini's for Breakfast and the team in the CC Dining totally outdid ...

We went with family and four friends joined us. All enjoyed it so much we did not want to get off. Everything was top notch from the first to last day. We are looking into another cruise in the very near future. Liked the extra room with a mini-suite having a tub/shower combination. We able to all sit at the same table every night, that way we got to know the servers and they the same. By the ...

We picked this cruise line to experience the Princess Cruse line and so far it is one of the best cruise lines so far. We cruised to the Dominican Republic and the Turks and Caicos Islands the week of March 11-16, 2018. This cruise left out of Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Both Embarkation and Debarkation went smoothly. At debarktion we were able to get our luggage from the holding area immediately ...

I traveled with my mom, who has mobility issues. We both wanted good food, good entertainment, and we weren't interested in a party atmosphere, so from our research the Princess line seemed to fit the bill. We hit upon an excellent deal on a mini-suite, and so we booked a cruise on the Crown Princess from March 11-16. Embarkation was great. I indicated in advance that my mom would require ...

We chose the Crown Princess because our experience in November on Carnival was so awful and because the service on Royal Caribbean (our former favorite cruise line) is so lacking. We are so glad we tried Princess! First of all, I am not sure why there are several negative reviews regarding this ship and the staff. Every single person we encountered was friendly and smiling. All greeted us and ...

We chose this cruise because of the ports we had not been to. Never did a Western Caribbean cruise. We usually do eastern or southern. We also like as many ports as possible on our voyages, as we like to go to the beach as well as see local history and eat local food. This cruise did not disappoint us at all. The ship- The ship is lovely, although I prefer the Crown and ...

Princess cruises are not for me

I found myself really bored every night. They needed more production shows, comedy shows, etc. I also felt like it was a nursing home on water. Most people were over 60 years old. Lots of motorized scooters. I watched this elderly lady run over a guys toe in the elevator and just didn't care. Very rude. I don't know if the service I recieved was poor because I'm not 60 years old, I'm only in my ...
