Just back from a wonderful 7 days onboard the beautiful Ruby Princess. This was our 8th Princess cruise, 2nd on the Ruby, with about 30 additional cruises on other lines. Consistent excellence keeps bringing us back and this trip was no exception. We found the ship to be in terrific condition and it appeared to us that additional staff had been added. There was always a staff member close by, ...

1st of all, it was a fabulous cruise. I traveled with my husband and 8 others, and we all loved the Island Princess. The ports were great, with Puntarenas, Costa Rica being our favorite. The real thrill is going through the Canal itself. We read the book "The Path between the Seas" by David McCullough before the cruise, so going through the Canal seemed somewhat familiar. It's a long read, but ...

We are a Swedish family of four who went on this cruise to celebrate my husband´s 40th birthday. We went on a Princess cruise for or honeymoon ten years ago and liked it so much, we wanted to bring our children on a cruise as well. They are 8 (boy) and 6 (girl). For us, cruising with Princess in the Caribbean has a certain "American" feel to it, even though the passengers are international to a ...

Great family vacation

Ruby Princess was all we expected and more. Lots to do for all ages, great service and friendly contact will all staff, from buffet folks to the Captain and his staff. Weather was fine, first sea day was somewhat bumpy and the younger girls had motion sickness but recovered for all port days.Cabin was wonderful--last Aft cabin with extended balcony. Did not hear any noise from Club Fusion below ...

I was traveling with my wife, our son (12) and daughter (15), and my wife's mother. We were met at the airport for our transfer, though the two guides who helped us seemed a little confused about who was going where, and navigating the airport. The bus took us quickly to the port, where we were shepherded to the counter to check in. The whole process from plane to stateroom was fairly smooth, ...

This was my 6th cruise with Princess, and 2nd on the Emerald. I think it is a lovely, well planned ship. All of the personal that I came into contact with were helpful and courteous. The ship was clean and well maintained, and our problem with the balcony door was fixed after only three calls to the service desk. The first worker that came by simply didn't know how to fix the lock. For the ...

Good Experience on the Ruby

About a week out we booked through Princess for a 7 day trip on the Ruby Princess. We have sailed Princess 4 or 5 times and again had a good experience with this line. It was there last Caribbean trip before heading to Europe. Not sure if that has any impact on the trip, but we felt great about the value, quality, and the enjoyment factor.Embarkation was so easy. Made us wonder if the ship was ...

The Pleasures of Princess and Panama

This was my eighth cruise, fifth on Princess, and first through the Panama Canal...and it was a pleasure. As is the case with other experienced Princess cruisers, the Island quickly became my favorite. It seemed just the right size, with an easy-to-navigate layout, an appealing version of standard Princess dEcor, and plenty of nice little touches. One favorite was the covered Lotus pool, done up in ...

WHY I TOOK THIS CRUISE...I had a future cruise which I purchased on the Crown TA from London - NYC in September 2010. This cruise was for relation only, I had no intention to take shore excursions. PRE-CRUISE FROM 3/31 - 4/1Why the Holiday Inn Cruiseport...I don't like to rent a car and have found this Holiday Inn both convenient to the cruise port and within walking distance of several malls, ...

My husband and I took the April 27, 16 night transatlantic on the Grand, our first transatlantic cruise, but our 11th cruise over all and 9th on Princess. We were not sure if we would like a TA, but ended up loving it - found plenty to do on the sea days, had great weather for the most part, met wonderful fellow passengers, enjoyed interesting ports. Very glad we tried a TA, and will be doing ...
