From start to finish, we had a great time on the Caribbean Princess. We did the 14-night Caribbean Circle itinerary which was wonderful. Eight ports of call and five sea days were perfect. We originally booked with Amber Cove as the first port, but that was cancelled early on due to ongoing propulsion problems. Since we didn't have anything special planned for that day, we didn't miss it. I ...
We chose this cruise for the itinerary. Was very pleased with all the ports EXCEPT Martinique and Trinidad. Martinique was very unfriendly and you felt like you were being a nuisance to the locals. The only highlight of the tour was the St. Pierre fort. Trinidad was also very unfriendly except for one local on the beach that had a cartful of handmade jewelery. Our tour guide dozed off on the bus ...
14 fabulous days in the Caribbean. We are addicted to the Royal Princess but wanted a longer getaway. The food was excellent and I ended up enjoying the older model Marketplace with it's circular system. The new Planks was the best meal of the cruise. Too much food really but everything tasted phenomenal. Cost was only $12 for a full meal with dessert. --to die for dessert Like I want the recipe ...
Hello,
this may be my first review on Cruise Critic, but i have cruised over 30 times and consider myself and my family seasoned cruise travelers. I will try to be as detailed as possible, and hopefully others will not make the same mistake as us, by going on Regal.
What prompted me to write this review?
Well this cruise had to be the worst cruise my family and I have ever taken. ...
14 day cruise without returning to original port. Ship is old, but recent refurbishment has improved it greatly. Club class dining was a very nice experience. An additional appetizer and entree every night that was not available in the main dining room. Staff in the club class dining was excellent. Ports of call were interesting, with the exception of Trinidad. They should have paid us to ...
We prefer a minimum of 10 days so when we saw a 14 night cruise we booked. It is not worth it ( living in BC Canada ) for us to fly to Florida for anything less than a 10 day cruise.
My wife and I have always cruised with Princess and have yet to have a bad one.Our theory is if it ain't broke don't fix it.
We sailed on the Caribbean Princess and had a good cruise. The food was excellent, ...
It has been our third eastern Caribbean on this itinerary but we choose to do it again due to the support for the hard hit areas of St Thomas and St Maarten and the fact we had not been on the Regal before. The Regal is exceptional with many of the Royals original issues resolved. The ships staff was truly exceptional and so were the folks on the shore excursions. Improvements to Princess Cays are ...
First of all we had fantastic weather!
We arrived at the port about 12:30, we were able to board the ship at that time. This was our second time on this ship and we knew what to expect. Of course the atrium was decorated with "Welcome Aboard" , and the staff was there to welcome everyone on board.
We proceeded to our stateroom on the Caribe Deck 10, and shortly after meet our cabin ...
Took this same cruise two years ago and had a wonderful experience. This time had an even better time of it! Ship and crew were absolutely great! The food in the buffet was excellent at each meal with a variety of choices available. We also utilized the anytime dining and set reservations when needed, all was smooth and painless. The service was very good and the quality of the food was ...
We choose this cruise as it was a 14 day cruise WITHOUT a return to FLL. We've looked at back to back 7 day cruises but the time lost returning to FLL has always put us off, so we typically select 10 day cruises.
The Caribbean Princess staff was fantastic, very cordial and extremely friendly. Having done our last couple of cruises on Regal and Royal Princess it appears the staff to passenger ...
