I booked Princess because of the reputation of service and quality I am not kidding when I say the majority of staff had attitude our room was Dirty, found shoes in the bathroom (not ours). Work Was done on balcony they left a mess and the steward did not clean it. We are also nickel and dimes for everything We also had a prepaid dinner in the paid restaurant. We went to book in ...

There are Stains on many of the chairs in the Lido dining room. It was Hard to get a seat during lunch or dinner in the Lido as many people were playing cards and other games. The supervisors did not care. On one evening the supervisor talked to a couple that were playing cards for over 30 minutes. After he moved on they kept playing even though others could not get a seat for their meal. ...

Disappointing

We chose this cruise because my sister in law and brother in law were booked. Our brother in law is having some serious health issues and we thought it would be a nice way to spend time with them and to help out with his mobility issues. Embarkation went smoothly. But, disembarkation at some of the ports and the final disembarkation were a nightmare. At one port (I believe Belgium), since it was a ...

This was our 6th. cruise with Princess, and it will be our last. The ship is in need of repairs. The varnish on the balcony railings was peeling off. The sliding glass door in our room would only open part way in the morning, but once it got warm it would open all the way. Hot water in the shower was hit or miss. The toilet malfunctioned twice. The couch in the room looked like one you would ...

Not what I was expecting

I've been waiting 50 years to go on a cruise and I hate to say that I picked the wrong ship and the wrong cruise line. The size of our mini-suite was great and the beds were comfortable but the furniture was rather outdated and worn. The couch was a tired green with a few holes and the furniture on the balcony needed an upgrade. The food in the buffet was worse than Golden Corral and there was ...

Unattended Children

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Regal Princess

Too many unattended children. Children running in halls, children swimming and drinking water in hot tubs. No parental supervision. Princess did not address the children running and being unattended in the hot tubs-sign posted "no children in the hot tubs." Luggage did not arrive to room until 3 hours after we left port. Luggage was being delivered to rooms at 7pm after we left port at 4pm. ...

We have cruised many times before but this was our first cruise on a Princess ship. When we booked this cruise we asked for fixed dining for our evening meal. Once on board the ship we found our time for evening meal had changed yet again - this was changed twice in the UK - without notification - from 8.15pm to 7.15pm and then on arrival on the ship to 7.45pm again without ...

Disappointed for the Money

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Island Princess

User Avatar

We chose this cruise to see the Panama Canal, which was the highlight and a great experience, for the family. Boat seemed aged, every thing costs an arm and a leg, and bathrooms are very small. This was a family cruise with kids, but there were very few kids on the ship. The demographic is very old, so lines are slow and the entertainment is suited for that generation. Disappointed with ...

Panama Canal Disappointment

In 2015, Princess refit this boat and added space for about 300 more people by shrinking the cabins. Staff was leaned. Restaurants were not expanded. Cabins were shrunk. The results we experienced were as follows: - Poor food service in all venues. ( Time of service, Replenishment, Quality, Ambiance,Noise). One waiter and an assistant handled 22 people in our area. We missed shows due to ...
