Yawn, a floating retirement home with excessive norovirus!

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Island Princess

This was our first time cruising with Princess and we were disappointed. The food quality was poor, the on board activities limited, we had to skip a port due to high winds and then parts of the ship were closed due to an excessive outbreak of norovirus. We knew the ship was small and older but the on board activities were dull and tacky. The quality and variety of food at the MDR, the Horizons ...

Enjoyed this cruise even thought we could not dock in Jamaica due to high waves. Noro virus was also on board so many passengers were confined to their rooms. The staff performed very well in order to contain. Food good overall. Did not appreciate having an additional charge menu with our meals, Meals are included, but they will keep the good items at a premium. Septic smells were in some ...

Every part of our Panama Canal cruise experience met or exceeded our expectations. Both the embarkation and disembarkation processes were seemless and simple. Our stateroom adequatley met our needs and our steward Michelle made sure we were well cared for every day. The Horizon Court breakfast and lunch dining options were amazing. We sampled all sorts of dining delicacies and ulimately overate at ...

The best for Gluten Free food!

February is the perfect time to escape the Great White North and enjoy a cruise in the sun. We always go with Princess, this time a ten day cruise on the Crown. We have been on the Crown before and like the layout of the ship, particularly the Piazza with the Vines wine Bar and the International Cafe. I have celiac disease and need a gluten free diet - I feel Princess does the best job of ...

The “Valentines Day Love Boat” a Hit!

We chose the Crown Princess for the 10 day itinerary. Loved the ports and can’t say enough about how amazing each day’s activities, shows, and especially food were each day! Oh! The food....the desserts......the service! Having been to these islands we knew what we wanted to see on them and chose excursions from sources other than through the ship. Easy on, easy off! They allow plenty of time ...

Magical island tour

Our cruise gang chose this cruise because of the less frequently visited islands on the trip. We enjoyed the 10 day cruise with 4 adjoining balcony cabins on Caribe deck. The extra large balconies allowed the 8 of us to gather together both morning for coffee from international café and evening over wine we brought along! We experienced the gambit from a day at the beach in Antiqua to our ...

My husband and I decided to take a 10 day Caribbean cruise for our 20 year anniversary. From the moment we stepped on the Crown Princess it was magical. All the guest are treated like VIPs with some of the best service I have ever experienced. Fernando and Sergi in the Michelangelo dinning room were the best Waite staff I have ever had. They were knowledgeable about the courses, made ...

We have taken 20+ cruises and chose Princess this time because we were traveling with 8 other people who chose this ship and itinerary. Princess always has beautiful ships and this was no exception. We booked a "balcony deluxe" instead of a regular balcony because this room includes a sofa bed and provides a little more space. (The balcony rooms are small.) The room was very nice, but the balcony ...

We cruised with Princess for our 25th Anniversary and had a wonderful experience! When we were approached by friends to go on a Princess cruise, we didn't hesitate! The atmosphere of the ship was like being pampered on a 5 Star floating hotel! The food was amazing no matter where you ate! The crew was spectacular! It's always nice when they remember you want coffee and orange juice with your ...
