About us- many cruises on Celebrity, Seabourn, Royal Caribbean, Holland America but mostly on Princess. Itinerary 10 days to Caribbean from FT Lauderdale Embarkation 7 ships going out same day so area was very busy even at 11:00 am for dropping off luggage and then to find parking in North port parking garage. While it was very busy we had no issues at check in and were on board by ...

I had avoided the cruise scene for many years but I took a cruise on the new Princess Regal and it changed my mind forever on cruising. Lovely experience on all fronts. The check-in process was a breeze and we were able to take a short 5 minute taxi ride to the port (FLL). My only bag was my carry-on and it was more than adequate for a 7 day trip. Getting on the ship in early afternoon for a ...

I spent months reading reviews of the Royal Princess before our sailing and was quite concerned with the negative reports on this new ship. This was our 25th cruise, our 10th on Princess, and we had not encountered a problem cruise in the past. We were very relieved to find a lovely ship, very good service and some of our favorite Princess features still intact. We spent three days in Fort ...

Allure of the Seas vs. Regal Princess

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Regal Princess

Last week we came from back to back cruises on the Allure of the Seas and the Regal Princess. I think it will be interesting to compare our impressions according to our taste. The boarding process was flawless in both cases, and in both cases you need to wait aboard the ship until about 1 pm when rooms become available. We had The Central Park balcony on Allure, and outside balcony on the Regal. ...

My wife and I are retired teachers and fairly new to cruising. Our lifestyle is quite modest and we are not users of 5 star hotels or gourmet restaurants, so we will not endeavor to review the dining, meals, etc. As my wife says to me.....you can only review a hamburger, fries and KFC so many ways, dear!!! This was our first time on Princess Cruises because we were fearful that they might be a bit ...

My Wife and I loved the Caribbean Princess and her crew. Our room steward was awesome and took great care of us. Bartenders were very nice and it was easy to get a drink. We could always find someplace out of the way on the ship where it wasn't crowded. The food was amazing in the sit down dining and out of this world in the Crown Grill and Sabatini's. The meal we ate at the crown grill was one of ...

This was our 5th with Princess. 14th overall. So I will make it short. DH64 ME58 and two Dear Friends 74 respectively. Embarkation day we arrived from BWI to FLL nonstop no problems at all :) Taxi to port $24.50 a little more than usual because of traffic. There were six ships in port on Sunday, March 1, 2015. Checked-in no crowds at noon, on ship in 15 minutes. Went straight to Alfredo's, best ...

My wife and I usually sail from the Texas coast. We decided to try Ft Lauderdale to be able to go to Grand Turks. GREAT decision. We really enjoyed this cruise. We had great service by our room steward and the dining was ok. Not quite as good as past Princess cruises but definitely not bad like I have read other cruisers say. The ship appeared to be clean and well maintained. We had a few bad ...

This was my husband and I's 10th cruise. The past 5 years we tend to do weekend cruises since we have small children and can only be gone a short time. We are in our late 30's and early 40's. I was very pleased to see the Princess started doing 4 and 5 night cruises as they have always been our favorite cruise line. This was going to be our 2nd trip on Caribbean princess we had sailed on her in ...
