I was very pleased with the Emerald Princess 5-day cruise to Cozumel and Costa Maya. The staff was outstanding, as they worked so hard and very incredibly friendly as they served our every need. My mother and I sailed on the Emerald Princess out of FLL with stops in Costa Maya and Cozumel, two days at sea. I've sailed on a lot of different cruise lines and this was my seventh Princess cruise, first time on this ship.

Had been on the Royal's inaugural Caribbean cruise in 2013. It was only 5 nights and not nearly enough time to explore this wonderful ship. Sailed again from Ft. Lauderdale October 31, 2015. Embarkation - We live nearby, left home at 1pm, got to the port by 1:30 and were onboard by 2pm. No lines or waiting. Prior to the cruise I read Cruise Critic forums and others commented on the easy late boarding and the cabin. They were correct, so thanks Cruise Critic members.

Got a little worried about the negative reviews I was reading before our trip. I just wanted to say I found most of them did not apply to us. Food ,entertainment and service were very good.
