Embarkation: Flight from Columbus to Fort Lauderdale on Saturday afternoon, with Sunday departure on Regal Princess. Had reservations at the Holiday Inn Express on 17th St Causeway (Convention Center). Had a little problem with being in the right place and getting picked up. Upon getting to hotel all was very good. Room was clean and comfortable. I am very picky about cleanliness! Restaurants and ...

Weekend Interlude with Princess

We are retired senior citizens living in southwest Florida and needed a weekend interlude to chill out. We as a rule do not like short cruises for this purpose, but revisited the 4 day cruise option. This was our 83rd cruise and 21st with Princess. And was it a joy with good food, places to read around the adult area in front of deck16 and enjoyable entertainment. We particularly enjoyed the new ...

We have been dealing with water damage from a rain storm and needed a quick getaway. We found this to be a relaxing trip. Not much to really see and do in Grand Turk, but a walk along the beach and some conch fritters at Jack's Shack fit the bill nicely. We relaxed so much doing what we wanted to when, that we never made it to the dining room. Skywalker's elite evening munchies were enough ...

We have done 30 plus cruises on Princess. The ships are always beautiful. Food is fantastic and service is terrific. We know we will always have a good time. Entertainment is not as good as some others but is still good. Don't have as many children so is good for people who enjoy some peace and quiet. We loved the pizzeria......always fresh and delicious. Anytime dining is great......if you ...

We chose the Royal Princess because it was a newer ship and we wanted to experience the Princess Cruise Line! The Royal Princess is a beautiful ship and the food and service were excellent! We took this cruise as a dance group and we were hoping to dance every night and we did in the beautiful Piazza! Mark, our cabin attendant, took great care of our cabin, and Alfredo and Mike provided us with ...

Beautiful Ship, and a Wonderful Vacation

This was our 3rd cruise, the 2nd on Princess, and our first 7 nighter. We had a wonderful time! The ship is beautiful, and walking into the Piazza just took my breath away. The Piazza is the heart of this ship, with all kinds of activities going on, from dance classes to cooking demonstrations to ballroom dancing to the a balloon drop and much more. However, the lack of center stairs is an ...

Very Enjoyable and Relaxing B2B on Regal Princess Feb 7-21

Embarkation: We flew into Fort Lauderdale the day before our 2 week first B2B. A very short ride to the pier from our hotel. We arrived at 12:30 pm and it was a very short wait to get on the ship. The lines moved quickly and it was handled very well. Cabin: We booked a mini suite on the lido deck. It was the usual layout. We do like the curtain on the newer ships between the bed and ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Emerald Princess

First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

This was the first cruise for my wife and me, though we're generally seasoned world travelers and we've been to the Caribbean several times before (and whether it counts or not, we've stayed aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach). We're people who feel like we know what we're doing when we travel, and what to expect. We'd done a lot of research on this cruise before embarkation, and had seen some of ...

My husband and I have sailed with princess 5 previous times and the 6th did not disappoint. Our other cruises, all were 7 days, and this one was a bit shorter at only 5 days. Prior to departure, I read the reviews here and now felt compelled to write. We traveled with 2 other couples, all 35-45 years old. From getting on the ship to disembarking, the staff was fabulous. Our room steward ...
