This was the third sailing of the vessel, so a bunch of stuff was not yet operational which is why she gets 4 out of 5. The itinerary was great, the staff was some of the best drawn from across the Princess fleet and it showed. The ship was brand new and gorgeous, and the glass door showers, sofas in balcony rooms, and revolutionary smart elevators were welcomed innovations that made the trip more ...
Enchanted Princess 17-27 March 2024 Review: Limited-mobility, snorkeling, suite life perspective including detailed know how
I had an egoistic desire to spend my jubilee birthday onboard. Why egoistic? Well, the first reason is obvious, it costs money, much more than we typically spend on a birthday. But there was another and more significant reason – my wife does not like cruises. In the past, ...
The islands visited included St Lucia, Antigua, and Dominica, all of which are stunning with gorgeous beaches and natural wonders like waterfalls. We did two excursions through major booking sites and one through Princess. All were well worth it, as many of the attractions had some sort of admission that was covered by the excursion price.
The ship was, overall, pristine and well-cared for. ...
The only "obstruction" was the normal glass wall was solid. Balcony was normal width but 3 times deeper than the normal Princess balcony room. The AC in the room was awesome! We'd leave it around 50% during the day. Leave for dinner, close the curtains, turn down the AC and by bed time, it was 68ish. Kid's club is fantastic, only 8 kids on this cruise (our kid's 7th Princess trip). ...
Just returned from my NYE cruise. The Enchanted is a lovely ship. The largest I have sailed. I liked the multiple venues and the additional seating. However, it is very spread out. The crew is very hardworking but you can see the lack of staff. Long waits for drinks and food. Again, this is not a crew issue but a staffing issue. The shows were nice. I especially liked the Enrichment ...
The hubbs and I enjoyed 10 days on the Enchanted Princess recently. Here’s my thoughts! For context, We’re in our early and late 50’s respectively and this was our 14th Princess cruise. We did the 10 day Mexican Riviera on Discovery these exact same dates last year and it was probably the best cruise we had ever taken and we were excited to have a similar experience being that Enchanted and ...
We have always booked exclusively for itinerary and not the ship, but now we are going to change that to both. The itinerary was Princess Cays, St. Thomas, Dominica, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Barbados, Guadeloupe, and Antigua.
Antigua was such a pleasant surprise and it really stole the show for us! Such a breathtakingly beautiful island with super friendly locals. We took an excursion ...
For her age, Island Princess is in great shape. She was spotless and well maintained all through she is starting to show her age. Loved the itinerary and the efforts made by crew to celebrate the holidays. Being onboard for both Christmas and New Years was a lot of fun. The Guest entertainers were very good and the ship's band was amazing. The band and lead singer in the Explorer's lounge ...
Our 8th cruise with Princess, based mostly on itinerary. The Enchanted Princess is identical to the Regal Princess and consequently shares the same pluses and minuses of her sister ship.
The ship is in fine shape and well-maintained. The cabins are likewise clean and well-maintained. The cabins all have the annoying motion light near the bathroom door that goes on whenever you pass by it. ...
I wanted to try a royal class ship and picked the enchanted princess for the European ports. But as luck will have it . They had to cancel Madeira due to a naval pilot strike. The ship is beautiful, clean but is showing wear in the cabin and hallway carpets, and lumpy beds. The only annoying things are the cost cutting measures put in place. Note cost cutting words were used by Princess staff. ...
