We chose the trip for one reason - get back to cruising (Australia only reopened to cruise from Apr'22).
Although a 20-year-old ship, it was spotlessly clean, well maintained and functional. In fact we would rate this ship above Ruby Princess, the last ship we travelled prior to pandemic shutdown.
Staff were all fabulous - they are all friendly and approachable; they remember your ...
The cruise itinerary suited my partner and I as this was our first cruise since the Covid pandemic. We wanted to experience life back on board to see if things hadn't changed to such a point that it would take the pleasure out of cruising. Although the travelling on board the ship from Brisbane to Airlie Beach and return gave us wonderful memories of past cruises the actual cruise ship itself was ...
This is our 5th cruise with Princess. We’ve always had great experiences until this one. I’m not sure we’ll sail with Princess again.
We took this cruise with some family members. That’s the only thing that saved it.
As with almost all of the previous reviews we had ports canceled and late arrivals. The buffet closed earlier and offered less. The food was often cold. The crew members and ...
We have been frequent Royal Caribbean cruisers and wanted to try something different. We thought Princess might fill the bill. Alaska was on the bucket list and whale watching was at the top. The cruise we booked included stops in Juneau, Whittier, Ketchikan, Icy Strait, Victoria BC, Skagway and Glacier Bay. Our excursions included 2 whale watching tours, and the Glacier tour with clambake.

The itinerary will change and it affects your Alaska ports. It’s a known issue but the company withholds information so you can’t cancel. The food is also awful. Nothing like Princess of earlier years. Horrible.
The kid experience is good except food options and quality for the kid food is limited.
The rooms are nice and service is good…except wait times were up to two hours for delivery. ...
It's probably been about 20 years since I've taken a Princess Cruise, so I had a lot to review on this cruise. The first thing is that all Princess Cruises Ships now use the Medallion instead of a cabin key card and that process works well. As soon as you get close to your door, you can hear it unlock and it allows you easy entry. The Medallion Class app that is downloaded on your cell phone is a ...
My mother and father in law took us on this dream Family vacay (16 of us). It was such a disappointing trip. The crew was nice but the ship was old and broken resulting in cancelled ports and excursions. Our time in ports was mostly at night for limited hours. We didn’t see any of Alaska. Excursions were cancelled and we seemed stuck at sea with no fun activities to fill our time. The food was ...
Booked this for 2020, and finally got to go on 2022. Not Princess’s fault but what a disappointment this ship and cruise line were. The experience was steamy garbage.
Food was subpar. Specialty dining was impossibly slow and not hot like it should be when it finally gets to you. Buffet was so slim and poor that I think I lost weight on this trip. Entertainment was weak with limited options in ...
The Crown Princess should not have sailed. Princess committed fraud knowing that this ship was failing mechanically.
We spent a lot of money to not make it to one port after losing two engines and have all other ports at only 4-5 hours a piece. The Alaska cruise that didn't really see Alaska.
The food was meh. The ship was outdated. We had failing HVAC on a balcony and luke warm water at ...
We chose this cruise on the Coral Princess as we've cruised on Princess ships previously, but not the Coral. Also, very convenient to depart and return to our hometown so there were no travel/flight expenses.
Great crew, very friendly and helpful. The food, as usual, was up to Princess standards. A couple of issues though.
(1) We are very aware of the impacts of Covid but were not overtly ...
