Another Pleasant Princess Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Caribbean Princess

Overall: We recently came back from a 10-night Eastern Caribbean cruise over the Christmas holidays aboard the Caribbean Princess. We feel that Princess continues to offer a good cruise value, especially compared to some competing ā€œpremiumā€ cruise lines, in most respects. The service (especially dining room and bar/lounge) remains generally excellent, along with the value of the Plus package, the ...

The crew is the #1 reason to sail on the Caribbean Princess

I cruise solely with Princess, and this is my 5th time on the Caribbean Princess, first time in 2005. I know this ship and the brand. If I donā€™t say this enough- the crew is the #1 reason to sail with Princess. Embarkment: When you arrive at Port Everglades be prepared to see a line. It move quickly. Tip: Get the medallion in the mail, wear it to the embarkment, and ask where the green ...

TEN DAYS ON THE RUBY PRINCESS

First, the ship. She's a grand dame with elegance and charm, and the Medallion electronics are awesome. Wearing the little coin makes you recognizable to your stateroom door, which unlocks as you approach. It also tells your traveling party as well as servers where on the ship you are, and can even draw a map to find you. There are many more Medallion features which you can look up on your ...

Great ship, limited allergen menu

Iā€™ve sailed this vessel a few times and always been happy. Iā€™m allergic to gluten, Celiac disease, and until this cruise they always accomadted well. The most recent selection of gluten free items was quite limited and staff was poorly trained in dealing with food allergies. Iā€™m going again in May and hope to see some improvement. A great ship other than this issue. I did notice that the pool was ...

Amazing Customer Service

Review for a Antarctica Cruise on Sapphire Princess

We joined friends and my daughter for this "once in a lifetime" Antarctic cruise. The big takeaway was the outstanding customer service throughout the ship in every venue: room steward, dining room hosts and stewards, Guest Services, photo shop, and internet booth. Across the board the staff at each of these went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and delightful cruise! The Captain did a ...

A mixed experience

Many aspects of the cruise were excellent. Room stewards, dining staff, pool deck outlet staff all excellent. The difficult aspects stand out. I had a feather pillow the first night, and I had an asthma attack. If you need a hyperallergenic pillow, request one before your cruise. To rub salt into the wound, they were repainting the superstructure in port when I was resting from asthma, and ...

Enjoyed so many aspects of the cruise. The food was a disappointment.

Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. Princess is our second preferred cruise line. Our cabin was one of the best ever, nice and roomy. Wish they still included the turn down service, chocolates, and towel animals. These are a nice special touch. Weakest link was FOOD and service in Symphony dining room. Wait staff was not attentive, slow the provide drinks and refills, orders were wrong. Breakfast ...

Turkey Day Holiday on the Ruby Princess

Much needed break for the holiday. Embarkation at Port Everglades was pretty smooth-20 minutes from Arrival to on the ship. The Ruby had just been fixed up in dry dock. She looks good for a 2008 Grand girl. It was really good to be back at sea. We used the Princess Plus package which was a nice option for trying drinks, I normally wouldn't have ordered. The package includes specialty ...

This was our 11th cruise, but our first cruise out of Galveston although we live less than 100 miles from Galveston. We originally scheduled a regular balcony cabin and bid to upgrade to a Reserve Class Mini-Suite. We also paid for Princess Plus to get the perks offered like drinks, Wi-Fi, and gratuities. We spent the night before the cruise in a local hotel, the Best Western Plus Seawall Inn & ...

ABOUT US Echo and I are brother and sister (I'm the sister), and are close knit. Neither of us had ever sailed before. I often have Youtube videos going to be a kind of background sound, and Tips for Travellers came on. Gary has a pleasant voice to half-listen to. I kept selecting TfT, and Youtube started popping up other cruise Influencers. Because of this I realised that on a cruise ship, ...
