First, the ship. She's a grand dame with elegance and charm, and the Medallion electronics are awesome. Wearing the little coin makes you recognizable to your stateroom door, which unlocks as you approach. I’ve sailed this vessel a few times and always been happy. I’m allergic to gluten, Celiac disease, and until this cruise they always accomadted well. The most recent selection of gluten free items was quite limited and staff was poorly trained in dealing with food allergies. I’m going again in May and hope to see some improvement. The big takeaway was the outstanding customer service throughout the ship in every venue: room steward, dining room hosts and stewards, Guest Services, photo shop, and internet booth. Many aspects of the cruise were excellent. Room stewards, dining staff, pool deck outlet staff all excellent. The difficult aspects stand out.
