We chose this cruise because it was a fairly new ship and we liked the itinerary. I had not been on a Princess cruise since 2013 and it was a little disappointing to me. First of all the shows were few and far between. Some of the other talent on the ship was not good. The cruise director was great and kept things running smoothly.
We were unable to dock in Aruba and Bonaire , but enjoyed ...
We are Elite members having sailed with Princess many, many times. The layout of the new ship was familiar. The staff attentive. Our suite in the Penthouse category was comfortable enough but could have been much larger in the balcony space. The 2 attendants were wonderful: never missed a beat. The concierge in the Suite Concierge Lounge was also extremely helpful. What was most disappointing ...
Princess is really getting things right on this cruise. We loved everything. Especially the Medallion which unlocks and locks your room and order takers can see who you are and all your info when you order. Payed extre for the Enclave. They have 2 steam rooms, sauna, heated lounges, spa, mist showers, etc. Usually the steam rooms aren't hot enough but these were perfect--between 104-122 ...
We are seasoned cruisers, platinum members on princess cruises. Took 10 day Caribbean cruise, left from Fort Lauderdale on 2/17 on enchanted princess. First day we knew something wasn’t right. Sick people and staff. People coughing, sneezing, and visually sick. Cruise was mainly older people, would say average age was over 60. Older people just don’t care who they cough or sneeze on. MDR, or ...
We have had great enjoyment over the years with many Princess ships, but the cost-cutting has struck with a broad, sharp blade.
The ship and staff are fine, totally clean, no concerns. However morning breakfast at your cabin has actually been so reduced, one item is "Muffin with catsup". This breakfast formerly was a very nice option with a full breakfast menu. Not any more.
Dining room - ...
First time back cruising post Covid. In all fairness we only have the past cruises, Pre- covid to compare to. We have been on 1-2 cruises a year over 5 different cruise lines. There seems to have been a great cost cutting on board regarding the food and entertainment. (Disappointed)
(1.) FOOD: The dining room menu is very limited, with small portions and limited meats. ANYTIME dinning ...
Now that I had time to reflect on my first princess cruise experience, I would like to share my thoughts. The ship was amazing, the process to get on and off went smoothly. It does help to pay for transportation to and from the ship and pay for a suite. We did custom medallions and we loved them. The Penthouse suite A734 was nice. Excellent food throughout the ship. The service was incredible, ...
We enjoy the larger ships (in our late 50's) and Enchanted did not disappoint. I am now platinum and still find Princess better overall then Royal, Holland or Carnival. Yes, it is not exactly the same as 6 years ago, but nothing is. It was our first time in a mini suite (we used the upgrade bid process) and it was real treat to have the sofa and a tub. It was very fast to embark and it was the ...
We have cruised Celebrity, Holland America and Royal Caribbean. We loved this ship. We thought the food in the MDR was excellent and even better than the specialty restaurants. Room service food was great. Our fav place to get breakfast or a snack was the cafe on deck 5, which made wonderful cafe lattes. We do not eat meat but found the wide choice of vegan and fish foods to be wonderful. These ...
We try to do the Carribean in February to get away from the cold and snow. We are Elite with Princess. We did not like the Enchanted Princess. This was our first cruise on the Royal Class ships. We were in a Standard Balcony room
ROOM- one of the smallest we have cruised on. Serviceable but small
Bathroom- very small almost cannot turn around without opening the door. Shower was ...
