Ok I read all the reviews, I really wanted to see Aruba and since most lines don't sail there I was willing to over look any negative comments by saying you cant please everyone and by owning an insurance agency I realize that some people are impossible to please . I have sailed Carnival twice Rcl twice Msc once , and I've always wanted to try Princess.(love boat and all)
I would have given ...
This was my 3rd cruise on Princess, and the first on Emerald. I understand that the ship just came out of dry dock, but I couldn't really figure out what had been updated other than the Effy jewelry boutique that took up a large amount of the shopping area. I'm not sure why Princess cruises made the decision to give so much real estate to such an expensive jewelry store. The pieces are terribly ...
We sailed EMERALD PRINCESS December 19-27, 2015, in Caribe 742 to Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire. Caribe 742 is the last stateroom on the port side. The balcony is partially covered and is slightly wider than all the other port-side cabins due to the ship’s design at the back. We’ve cruised during Thanksgiving and New Year’s, but this was our first Christmas cruise. Prior to booking, we read about ...
All I can really say is that we were very disappointed in this cruise. Embarktion went smooth and the staff were very accommodating. Yes this ship was beautiful. The ports were great. service was awesome.
we had a inside cabin at the front of ship and it was nice and quiet and for a inside room was extremely comfortable. We had assigned first seating for dinner. menu was a bust in our opinion. ...
We enjoyed another sailing on Princess, our first on the Emerald. Here are some quick notes which I hope assist my future cruisers!
The ship-----In very good shape, but there were some signs of wear, such as scratches on furniture. We had a balcony on Aloha Deck (12), which was very convenient to the buffets and gym, and whose balcony gave us some privacy (no one from above could see our ...
This was our 7th cruise with Princess and our third on this class of ship. We started our journey with our pre-cruise night at the Hampton Inn airport north with no complaints whatsoever. They are one of the few hotels left that supply shuttles both from the airport and to the cruise port with no charge.
We arrived around noon at Port Everglades with one of the speediest check-ins that I can ...
Okay folks we started our 6th cruise aboard the Emerald Princess on Dec/17/2012 having sailed on Royal Caribbean 4 times in the past on their LARGE ships Oasis Allure, Explorer and Voyageur of the Seas. I will compare the Emerald to my experience on the RCL.
Embarkation/Disembarkation: Princess and RCL have really refined the process and they are both very good
Ports Visited: Emerald ...
My wife and I are in our sixties and are frequent cruisers - our only other Princess cruise experience included a tropical storm, so we wanted to try again. We cruised from Ft. Lauderdale to the Southern Caribbean from 12/17 - 12/27/12. We had never been to Aruba, Bonaire, Grenada or Dominica, though St. Thomas has been a port on our previous cruises. We are lucky to live in Miami, so hotel ...
We sailed on the 10-night cruise departing 2/26/12. This was our 5th cruise, a special trip in celebration of our upcoming 30th anniversary that we had planned for more than a year and a half. Other than our purchased "anniversary package" details, there was nothing on this trip that stands out as a time when we felt special the way that we did on our two previous Princess cruises.
Our cabin ...
This was my first Princess Cruise. I have only ever sailed once before on RCCL. We chose Princess because the price was right and the itinerary was awesome!
Embarkment was a breeze, I can't say enough about that, a small line up for security, but it moved so fast.
Room - Minisuite (AB)Fantastic Room Steward. He was never intrusive and attending to all our needs. The room is spacious and ...
