Excellent Transatlantic Voyage

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Emerald Princess

The biggest reason I chose this 16-day cruise from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale was the list of 6 intermediate ports of call -- I had never been to any of them! The ports were Cherbourg, Le Verdon, Bilbao, A Coruna, Lisbon, and Ponta Delgada. I was very grateful that I had booked a Princess transfer from London Heathrow Airport to the ship, as the few days before the cruise was sailing it ...

My wife and I love the Transatlantic cruises. After a half dozen ports at the beginning of the cruise, you have almost a week to sit back and relax. The Emerald Princess was just refurbished and everything was in tip top shape. All of the staff was extremely friendly and did a great job. Princess continues to make improvements every time we cruise with them, this cruise was no exception as the ...

Wife and I and several friends cruised on the Emerald Princess to Ireland, Scotland, and France in July 2022 from Southampton, England. We are all in our 60’s. It was our 30th cruise overall, 4th on Princess. We pick our cruises based on destinations and this one covered a lot of unique stops and areas we wanted to see. I highly recommend this cruise for the destinations and the ship is fine ...

Excellent cruise with just a few exceptions

This was our family's BIG vacation, with my wife and I bringing our three adult children along with us, as well - perhaps for the last time as a fully-funded trip. As the first family vacation since COVID started, this was also a big deal for all of us in that we really NEEDED a vacation, as well. We spent four days in London first, renting a flat via VRBO near the Thames. That went, pretty much, ...

Princess is always great, but an excursion...

My husband and I prefer cruising on Princess to other lines, not because others aren't also fine. We don't need climbing walls, waterslides, etc. We also have some perks because of our Captain's Circle status. Thus, when we were planning a trip to Ireland and wanted to go on a cruise as well, we naturally looked art Princess first. What had been planned as just he and I and his sister ended up ...

Living in California, most people cruise to destinations such as Alaska, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Prior to this cruise, I had never considered the British Isles as a destination. I wish I found this sooner! Traveling to places I've always wanted to see since I was a child - Dublin, the Blarney stone, the Giants Causeway, and more was a fantastic experience. The ports on my cruise were (in ...

We have been sailing with Princess for many, Many years. This was our 7th Princess Cruise. We have always wanted to go to the British Isles, and what better way to sail, than with Princess. We already have our next cruise booked with Princess, with a similar room this time to Alaska, as a cruise tour. This will be our second cruise to Alaska. Because we had a suite onboard we had club class ...

This was my 5th cruise with Emerald princess. I was not disappointed. The staff was every attentive to all my needs, from the customer service clercks to the room stewards. (Ronald) Mona In the Spa massages were mind blowing. her gentleness and attention to detail is one of the reasons why I keep returning to Emerald Princess. The cleanliness of the floors was remarkable. the tables were ...

Transatlantic From Barcelona to Ft. Lauderdale

Excellent in every way! Boarding was fast and efficient; luggage delivered quickly; room steward ("D" as he wanted to be called) was nearby to greet us and explain what he was going to provide and asked if we had any special request. Fantastic service. Cruise was a combination of celebrations my wife and I usually celebrate (birthdays, anniversary) as we do not do anything special during the ...

Emerald Princess is a Good Ship With a Great Crew

We went on this cruise because it was a good value. 29 days with prepaid gratuities and $1000 onboard credit in a balcony for around $4000 each. It sailed from Barcelona to Los Angeles (home) through the Panama Canal (our first time). The ship was refurbished in April. We had not been on this ship before but some people said it was all new inside. The crew was great. Very friendly and they did ...
