14 days, 8 Islands, 4 days at sea. A perfect cruise

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Emerald Princess

What I loved about this cruise was that almost everybody on the ship were 55 or older. No kids and families took this two-week cruise in December. The weather was great. The ship atmosphere was relaxed. Our staff were friendly and attentive. I engaged with most people I came in contact with, asking them how many cruises they have been on, and of course where are they from. (Most everybody ...

I took a chance on Princess and they failed miserably

A little about me... I got hooked on cruising in August of 2022 when I was gifted a 4 night Bahamian cruise on the Disney Wish. Disney was great, but I was looking for something more adult oriented. I chose to cruise the Celebrity Apex and inside less than a year had also cruised Celebrity Constellation and Summit. No one ship or cruise will be perfect, but I was able to easily see that ...

Panama Canal Coast to Coast

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Emerald Princess

Our cruise to the Panama Canal on Emerald Princess did not disappoint, it was a great ratio of at sea days vs port days. The embarkation and disembarkation both ran smoothly. The staff were exceptional, especially our cabin steward. On day 1 he got extra hangers for me and removed the small table, replacing it with an extra chair. Our balcony stateroom was faded and the age really showed but it ...

Quality of Princess Onboard Service Remains Outstanding

We booked this cruise at the spur of the moment, and did not shop around to see other options. That said, we were very pleased with the cruise overall. This was our eighth cruise on Princess, and the cruise line's quality of service has always been outstanding for every cruise we've taken over the years. The entire crew are wonderful - they all have a great deal of enthusiasm and are eager ...

We chose this cruise as it was doing 2 weeks without a trip back to Florida, it wasn't a bad choice. We travelled as a group of 9 which we do every couple of years. I know the Emerald Princess is one of the older ships and it is showing its age but we had a nice time. Cabin We had an inside cabin on Baja deck and was looked after by Christina. I think we had 1 of the refurbished cabins ...

Princess On the Decline

We’ve been on several Princess cruises and we can see things are on the decline. Service was not as good as what it was before. Most times while eating in the buffet we had to get our own beverages, rarely did anyone ever offer and when they did we waited 15-20 minutes for the drinks to arrive. The food selection and quality has declined. The buffet also closes and hour earlier than what ...

What a Disappointment

Had been planning this cruise for a couple of years as a celebration for my retirement. This was our first Princess cruise because we had heard many good things about them and we were looking forward to something a bit more upscale than the fun ships but not a "premium" brand. First day our bags were never delivered to our cabin. I found them abandoned in the passageway about half of the ship ...

Very/no-EXTREMELY disappointing onboard experiences

We have been loyal princess customers (don't insult us by calling is "guests"- we pay for the experience) for 25+ cruises. We chose this cruise for its itinerary and it being on the emerald, a ship on which prior cruises were top notch. This cruise deserves top notches only for the stateroom service and accomodations, embarkation, and debarkation services. We felt crowded everywhere. It was ...

Emarld Princess Good, Princess Accounting Awful

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Emerald Princess

This was our first Princess Cruise, a 14 day Circle the Caribbean from Ft. Lauderdale in March, 2023. The Emerald Princess and crew were great. But Princess Cruises is so poor and irresponsible with their accounting we won't be sailing with Princess again. Just too risky and they have proven untrustworthy with out money even when they put things in writing. (Details below). The cruise itself ...

Crowded venues, uninformed/unwilling dining staff to accomodate on what has been a favorite Princess ship

We like to escape the dreary Midwest Winter in March or April. Having had excellent experiences on the Emerld among our prior 30 Princess cruises, we chose this one because of the inclusion of Trinidad (first time) and previously enjoyed Caribbean ports. Great Delta flights between home and FLL was another attraction. First the praises for our mini-suite cabin; maintenance was excellent. Only ...
