The bad and good from our perspective

This was Plan C in terms of our preferred destinations due to covid. We are a younger couple and have cruised in the past. The BAD: Cancelled/changed itineraries: including Colombia, and grand cayman and both replaced with bahamas. (Colombia was the reason we booked so we were sorely disappointed i do give props to princess for trying to fix the situation!) Cancelled our costa rica ...

We chose this cruise to get out of the harsh winter weather here in southern Indiana. This is the first cruise we have been on since Covid has hit. We were afraid of what could happen but we’re pleasantly surprised at how well Princess cleaned the ship and made us safe. Ship actually holds 3000+ passengers however we only had 1074 on board. We pretty much had the run of the ship. Our stop in ...

Bought a transfer from the Miami airport to the ship, but wound up having to pay for a taxi drive to get to the ship. Then they wouldn't reimburse me with cash but onboard credit. One of the port of calls was cancelled. Got injured while getting off the tender in Panama. Was not offered the chance to cancel the excursion and get my money back. Lastly came in at least one hour late for ...

Ship good, food good, staff great, excursions beware

We were in club class and utilized the dedicated dining room. That was a huge plus. Deck 15 food was lacking. Burgers good, pizza greasy, ice cream ok. Needed a sandwich bar. Buffet was pretty bad. Still managed to gain 4 pounds. Shocked at how many people went without masks or failed to put their mask over their nose. I understand the passengers and crew were fully vax'd, but Princess ...

Very Disappointing

I have never cruised on Princess before, but had always heard they were a "cut above" most others, so I wanted to try them. This was a 10-night cruise that went to Cartagena, SA, and I had never been there before, so I was very excited. The itinerary started out going to the Cayman Islands, Cartagena, Panama Canal, Cristobal, Costa Rica, and Jamaica. A few months before the start date, the ...

Amazing Crew

The port of calls was the main reason we chose this cruise. The ship didn't end up going to Columbia as planned because it had to divert course since there was a medical emergency on board. We were good with that as if one of us needed emergency care we would want the same. The staff was so unbelievably friendly, so helpful. The crew really made this cruise, all of them were good, some were ...

We did a full transit in 2004 on the Coral Princess ,and wanted to see the NEW improved canal since the additional locks were added. Over all it was a great crossing and neat to see the new canal and gates. the crowd was older and more scooters on this cruise than on previous Princess cruises. The activities onboard were kind of lame and geared toward an older crowd , so a lot of trivia and ...

First time Princess cruise

Chose for several reasons. (1) First day at Sea was our 50th anniversary. (2) 3 ports we had not been to out of 11 cruises. (3) We had never cruised with Princess before. One of if not the best cruises we've been on. Inside cabin...seemed larger than others we've had. Ship was beautiful and easy to get around on. The entertainment was excellent!! The staff in every department was outstanding in ...

Just a Mess!

We have always wanted to see the Panama Canal & the city of Cartagena was also of interest, so the itinerary seemed ideal. However, it was a terrible experience. Rude staff in Guest Services (an oxymoron if ever I heard one) where we were given misinformation and an attitude. An “upgraded” cabin with a leaking sink that flooded the bathroom. Only took 1 1/2 days to get this fixed. At least the ...

The Good: Staff, Club Class, and the Sanctuary made the cruise for us. If you are wondering if Club Class is worth the extra money, it is! From priority embarkation to the dining room with no wait, this was the best thing we ever did. The first night we went to the MDR by accident and the line was 50 deep. People WITH reservations had been waiting for 45 minutes. We realized we were not in ...
