Enchanted Nov 22 Review
Back home from the Nov 5-19 Enchanted from NY to Caribbean to Lauderdale:
So my assessment - I was very pleased with the cruise compared to our first post Covid in March 2022, which was a transatlantic on the REGAL. On the March Cruise, we missed three ports, had terrible Medallion service (received a refund) and the food was not Princess standard fare.
I would ...
My husband and I cruise very often and we enjoy the Princess Cruise service. On this cruise, we had a balcony cabin on the Riviera deck towards the back of the ship. There was a sewage blockage somewhere in the ship and the cabins became flooded. The staff did their best to clean it up but I requested to change cabins. As you walk on that particular area of the ship, you can see the moldy residue ...
Overall a positive experience. But 3 of the 4 ports were Carnival-owned, meaning not much to see other than beaches. No dining rooms open for lunch on at-port days though the buffet is. In the dining rooms, portion sizes are smaller, but you can ask for seconds. Embarking and debarking seemed a little faster with the medallion, but we had a suite so that helped too.The Medallion app is clearly ...
I truly enjoyed not having to wear a mask onboard. I spent most of my time in The Sanctuary and loved it!
The food was good with a few exceptions (too rare Prime Rib--it was almost mooing!) The World Fresh Marketplace food was delicious but the lines were long. The crowd of people blocked the view of some of the items on offer. But everything I had was great. Try the curried lamb!

Never had been to the Eastern Caribbean and had been on the Caribbean Princess on 3 previous cruises. We had enjoyed cruising on the Caribbean Princess on our previous cruises. Accommodations were good, food and entertainment were good, and staff was excellent. Our only other cruise on a different Princess ship was a cruise to Alaska on the Island Princess, and the cruise was excellent, our ...
We did have a wonderful time. The Vines Bar/Servers enhanced our experience. Aerial and Dylon are 5 star all the way. They knew everyone's name and their libation. Could not be better! The D/R was good. Olesky always managed to get us a great table. And Our cabin was nicely cleaned each day. Toilet worked well. It was all okay.
Now the negative!
How can a line go from strict Covid ...
This is the first review I have ever written (after 15+ cruises). I wanted to write it to express my thoughts on the current state of cruising. Just returned from 7 day eastern Caribbean cruise on the Caribbean Princess and it was a fantastic cruise, we had a great time. Yes, things are not the same as they were before Covid. Yes, there is a lack of steak and higher end cuts of meat on the menu. ...
We chose this cruise because of the ports and were very satisfied. We did not enjoy the My-Time dining and are hoping they will change back to early and late dining. We made our request for the same time each night, with the same people. The app erased all that on e we got on the ship. We had one couple each night and the rest changed each night and came at different times. We had to wait until ...
This was the 3rd time we attempted to go on this circle cruise. There was a group of 6, my husband, myself, my sister & her husband & another couple who are friends we met about 5 years ago on another Caribbean cruise. We had two main reason for picking this particular cruise.....the number of islands we would visit & that 2 of the guys would be able to go scuba diving on 5 of those. ...
This was our first cruising experience with Princess, our first cruise since the pandemic started and our 4th cruise overall.
Embarkation: We stayed close to the Ft. Lauderdale port and could have walked as the Sky Princess was docked very close, but ended up paying for a shuttle. In case you are wondering, the Hilton and Holiday Inn Express are very walkable to Princess pier #2. There is a ...
