It was a last minute vacation for my husband and I and our 5 kids (13,14,17,19 &20 yrs) The staff was great, friendly, helpful and fun! Loved the medallion and it’s apps! Very innovative and helpful if you aren’t regular cruisers. The only thing I wished is that I’d be able to track the kids under 18 in the other 2 state rooms since we had 3 rooms. But because of their age the app wouldn’t allow me to track them but we all have iPhones so we just texted. WiFi plan purchased workers really well, especially being in the middle of the ocean. Food was tasty and lots of options for the picky or for adventurous taste buds. Didn’t eat 1 thing I didn’t like. Plenty of areas to sit and relax, didn’t feel over crowded in any areas (obviously many people at pools on hot days, but there are multiple pools so it didn’t seem to bother anyone and didn’t seem over crowded). There’s about 4-5 smoking areas. Rooms were stayed on top of, very clean, service was great. The staff remembered your orders or likes almost immediately. Made for a very personal feeling. Entertainment was funny and there was always something going on somewhere. Princess cruises has it down pat all the way around. Looking into sailing with them again next summer. Embarking and disembarking was soooo quick and easy too! Read Less

We love Princess and it services. The Buffet is outstanding...service can not be matched by and other cruise line. Carribean Princess and it staff are wonderful. Our Cabin (P327) was maintained the way we would expect. If we did not see something we would ask for it and sure nough it would be there by the next day. Our dining on board (anytime dining) was superb.,......the waiters advised what foods would be good and which we would enjoy the most. When we ask for something in the dining our waiter would get it and always make sure it was the way we liked it. If something was not right the staff would make every effort to correct it and provide perfection. We enjoyed the "Production" shows very much. However we do not enjoy comedians and jugglers......perhaps when we younger we may have enjoyed them more. Comedians do not use their microphones properly so the entire ordience can hear them. Only the first five (5) rows of people in attendance laughed at their jokes. Obviously everyone in the sixth row and further could not hear them. Read Less

This was a great cruise in so many ways. We traveled with good friends and all of us had a wonderful time. Service was excellent, staff was friendly, food was good, ship was well maintained, beds were greatly improved since our last sailing on the Caribbean Princess, and itinerary was perfect. Club Class dining was well worth the extra expense - we had the best service and every meal was great. Adult only pool was very nice on sea days, entertainment was good and there was a nice variety of activities. Staff in boutique stores were phenomenal (Effy, Swarovski) - even got to try on a 45 carat tanzanite necklace - amazing!!! Complimentary wine/champagne events were also a nice addition. The only constructive feedback I have is around the art auction. We've attended art auctions on numerous cruises and have collected several pieces along the way. We intended to purchase art on this cruise, too, but auctions weren't as fun or accommodating as we've experienced in the past or on other cruises. Champagne was extremely limited and all glasses were filled 3/4 of the way with orange juice. I don't drink orange juice, so I didn't get to have any champagne. I mentioned this to one of the staff, and she promised to send a bottle of champagne to our room, but this never happened. During the auction, I tagged four pieces of art to bid on but they never brought them up for action after almost 2 1/2 hours of sitting there. I mentioned this too as we were leaving and they just apologized - there wasn't any personal follow up to help us make a purchase. We also stopped by the art gallery at least 10 times to discuss the art we were interested in but no one was there. So, while some of the art events they hosted were okay/nice (Peter Max showing in art gallery), the overall experience was left to be desired and worse, we left the cruise without acquiring any new pieces. While the art auction experience wasn't the best, we will definitely cruise on Princess again and overall, we had a fabulous time well worth what we paid. We will definitely opt for Club Class on all future cruises and are already planning our next one for the Fall 2019 or Spring 2020 in the Caribbean and another one overseas in the Summer or Fall 2020. Can't wait! Read Less

There were many things we valued. 1) I was incredibly ill one evening and into the next morning. Patricia in the Medical Centre not only got me on my feet, but I was able to go on the shore excursion that we had been looking forward to for months. 2) Ivan - Food and Beverage Supervisor in Planks was remarkable. We even celebrated our 16th anniversary there. He was thoughtful, attentive and funny. 3) When we discovered a false charge on our account, they investigated it and credited it within 24hrs. 4) We didn’t use the internet with the Medallion program. It could be as integrated or as minimally used. It’s up to you. 5) We totally enjoyed Movies Under The Stars. It was so relaxing. 6) The food was incredible both in the included restaurants and ones you paid for. We enjoyed both. We highly recommend Planks and Crown Grill. Both were superb. 7) We sat out on the balcony every night and just admired the stars. It was better than Yoga!! 8) EVERYONE MUST GO TO CORAL WORLD in St. Thomas. The staff and activities are incredible!! The staff is thoughtful, knowledgeable and sincere. Get a kiss from Rosy the sea lion. Be in awe of Fred. Go do Snuba. We can’t wait to go back. Read Less

My husband and I decided to do a Caribbean cruise for our anniversary, and my son’s high school graduation. I was a little weary about sailing on a Princess Cruise because it seems to cater to an older crowd, and we had an 18 yr old, 16, and 11 yr old with us. Half the passengers were senior citizens, and the rest were families. All of my kids made friends on board and had a great time. The food was great, the weather was perfect, the islands were beautiful, the crew went out of there way to cater to everyone. There were plenty of lounge chairs, and rarely any lines. The newlywed game and Voice of the Ocean was great. The medallion system and WiFi was exceptional. Movies on deck were great. My kids can’t wait to do another cruise. I like that the atmosphere is low key, and laid back. A slide or two for the kids would be nice, but I would definitely Cruise Princess again. Princess Cays, St. Maarten (Maho beach) St. Thomas (excursion to Trunk Bay St. John’s USVI) Perfect. Getting on and off the ship was well organized too. Read Less

We're experienced Cruisers (Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian, etc.) and we've done the "Caribbean" thing many times, so I wasn't expecting much more 'Pleasure' from this cruise other than "watching my Wife enjoy the Cruise" (She can make "waking up every morning" into an event ;) I was wrong, WE - HAD - A - BLAST!!!! We like to "Get off the Tourist Track" whenever Possible... When we travel, We take the Train System while in Europe, Visit Friends in Europe and in the Caribbean, etc. We didn't see any Princess Excursions that looked "Like Us", So we did our Shore Excursions online, not through Princess... We booked a Scuba Diving Trip on St. Thomas from my favorite little Dive Shop there (Been hitting it for 20 years or so?), and it was AWESOME! The Reefs are making a comeback pretty quickly! Christine and Chris did an EXCELLENT job of herding the divers through the tour.. Being experienced Divers, We had a little over 2K PSI of air left in our tanks when the other members of the Excursion (Beginners without Dive Licenses) were pushing their tanks down around 800-500 PSI, so Christine just told us, "You know your way around, Come back to the beach when you're ready" In St. Maarten we had pre-booked the "ATV Island Tour" through "Blue Bubbles Dive Shop"... AWESOME Folks to deal with!!! Dwight and Joshua are FANTASTIC Tour Guides!!! Up Front, you really need to have "Some" experience with an ATV to take this tour, or at least have "An Adventurous Spirit".. They run UPHILL, Up STEEP, Rocky, Dirt Trails, and then suddenly you're running "Wide Open, Throttle To The Stops" FAST, out on the main paved roads, on BOTH sides of the Island! We had several people that obviously didn't know what they were getting into with this tour, and had never ridden an ATV. They immediately began lagging WAY behind... Dwight asked them if they'd be more comfortable going back to the ATV Shop, and those folks took the Van ride back to the shop. After that, the rest of the group was WIDE OPEN again. Joshua played "Tail End Charlie" on the group, then he sped ahead and blocked roundabouts and intersections so the group wouldn't get separated by other traffic, then he'd pull in behind the group again... Lots of great stops for Pictures and "Rest Breaks", Including watching the Jets Land and Take-Off at Maho Beach and from the Sunset Bar. Hit "Confidence Nude Beach" on the French Side after Dwight CAREFULLY got the OK from the ENTIRE group... Just "Lots of Cool Stuff"! Blue Bubble Dive Shop is HIGHLY recommended for their ATV Island Tour, and for Dive Excursions! About the Ship... Our Children are "grown and gone and Producing Grandchildren", so we didn't have them with us. We booked a "Near Aft, Port-Side, Balcony Stateroom" (Back near the last Aft Elevators near the Adult's Pool and Bar). The Room was CLEAN and Pretty Quiet. We spent most of our "Room Time" out on the Balcony. We LOVED the "Movies Under The Stars" HUGE TV Theater out by the pools, Restaurants ("Sabatini's": AWESOME with STARS! 'Nuff Said ;). Pools, etc. Children on the Ship musta been having fun SOMEWHERE, because we didn't see or hear very many, except while trying to Snorkel on Princess Cay... Princess Cay is Highly Sculpted, like a Theme Park, and just wasn't to our tastes. I could go ON AND ON AND ON... Suffice it to say, I'm an Electrical Engineer and Retired U.S. Army.. My Wife is a Doctor Of Regenerative Medicine.. We own a secluded Mountain-Top Ranch.. We can (and DO) go "Anywhere we want to go". We "ALMOST" just stayed on the Ship to do a Western Caribbean Cruise! We had *THAT MUCH* FUN! The Staff was AWESOME (Without "staying up in our faces all the time"), the Ship was GREAT, The Medallion Services functioned Flawlessly, Internet was ACTUALLY Broadband, etc etc... We've decided that this was our Favorite Cruise EVER, and *THAT* is saying something! Few last things: Princess treats Military Veterans *RIGHT*! That was unexpected and GREATLY appreciated! We signed up for Early Debarkation (We carry our own Baggage), We had "Mobile Passport" on our Phones for Customs, etc,.. We left the Stateroom PROMPTLY at 7;30AM, and we were SITTING IN A TAXI by 7:52AM!!! That was an UNUSUAL Experience for us, so don't book Air-Flights around that information, but it happened! FANTASTIC, MUCH NEEDED, Vacation! Read Less

I had heard that the food and service were great The dining room staff was outstanding. Our waiter was Carlos and the Dining Room Captain was Frederick. My nine year old granddaughter asked for strawberry soup and Frederick had it delivered every single night within 5 minutes of being seated even though it was not on the menu. Carlos treated the 2 girls (9 and 6) as princesses. He would bring a chopped fruit cup immediately for the baby. Loved the trip so much I am going again next year and will request both Frederick and Carlos again. Carlos has been on this ship for 14 years. He danced the Macarena with the girls one night. Loved the beaches at all 3 stops in Eastern caribbean. Perfect weather and seas as flat as glass. Port locations in the perfect location from where the ship docked. Medallion class worked perfectly. Boarded the ship within 5 minutes at ll:30 a.m. Virtually walked right on. Read Less

Chocolate Journeys desserts were AMAZING! I enjoyed my balcony stateroom on the Aloha deck foreword starboard. The food was great throughout the ship with only a few dishes not to my liking. I was able to relax on this cruise with a nice balance of sea days and port stops. The guests were great to meet and get to know and there was a mix of ages and group sizes and celebratory occasions. I enjoy Princess Afternoon Tea, English Pub Lunch, the pizza bar, and the movies in the stateroom and at the pool. The gym was great and I should’ve used it more. I wish the salads were better in the dining room but I guess I could’ve made my own in the buffet. I wish Princess had an itinerary out of Jacksonville or Orlando so I didn’t have to drive to Ft Lauderdale. Overall I really enjoyed my vacation. Read Less

Cruised more than 65 times, Princess is one our favorites. We’ve traveled to 85 plus countries. The cabins are good, the food is above average . I’m not a fan of anytime dining but they have options. We did the specialty Resturant and it doesn’t get any better than what they did. The food was excellent and the service was equal to it. The shows were very good and the performers were on the upper scale. I actually didn’t get the shows but it’s probably because I’m a bit older. The comedian was great. The magician was one of the worst most amateurish I’ve seen, probably why he’s on a cruise ship! Not good! The staff and crew were better than most. They cared. It’s important to me to see a happy crew and workers, the Captain must be doing a good job. Everyone wanted to help! I’ll continue to cruise and use Princess. Read Less

Embarkation was swift and easy as well as the disembarkation. A nice surprise was the addition of Carrot Juice for breakfast as well as different types of pizza including deep dish varieties at other times. The singers and dancers performances were superb. They were always in sync, graceful and elegant. Don’t miss “Bravo” & “Fantastic Journey” We had a large number of first time cruisers of varying ages and there was always an activity to cater to everyone. And the courteous decorum of everyone was apparent. The Caribbean Princess is a Medallion Class Ship. There are still a few kinks to iron out but overall it was a great experience especially being able to wear your Medallion instead of carrying your card. As you approach your cabin, the door automatically unlocks. You can play games, locate your shipmates, and order drinks with the apps. From the dining room menus to the exceptional service we hated for our cruise to end. We will be back! Read Less

Medallion class made cruising so simple! Embarkation was a dream -- we did not wait in line at all. Wearing the Ocean Medallion, our door unlocked as we approached and we could order a drink or food item from literally anywhere on the ship -- no more leaving that lounger for a drink. That said, my favorite part about the Ocean Medallion was being able to locate my "shipmates," AKA my mother! If we were having trouble meeting up (she'd forgotten her phone at home), I could go to any "Ocean Compass" sign (aka Ship Map) or use the app on my phone to locate her. It will be a huge boon when I cruise with my entire family. This trip was just my mother and I. We really enjoyed this particular itinerary: we took to the beach on Princess Cays, having reserved a clam-shell, and then shopped in St. Thomas and St. Maarten. The clam-shell set up was more cumbersome than I'd have liked -- you have to walk quite a ways to get a card to get it set up, and then find someone to help you. They ran out of floats -- not too great for those who had reserved them and didn't get them. I do appreciate the cookout Princess does on their island. It's nice to be able to just stay on the island and have a good lunch and keep swimming. We enjoyed the production shows, as always, particularly BRAVO, and the dancers were amazing. The Cruise Director, Matt, was a hoot - very friendly and accessible. One of the ADs, Andy, was also very visible and fun. Dining was interesting and the service was excellent, as usual. We used traditional dining as we enjoy getting to know other diners and our service staff. We do enjoy the food aboard Princess but miss the escargot and Snow Crab that used to be a part of the menu. We loved the makeover the buffets had received. We ate most breakfasts in the formal dining room because we love their specials, but heard great things about the buffet. All in all, we had a great cruise, our best so far; Princess has made a lot of improvements to the cumbersome parts of cruising like embarkation and disembarkation. Read Less

I do have to admit a bit of bias for this one- my wife and I got married on this cruise, so we received outstanding extra treatment by the ship's staff including the Captain- Mario Ciruzzi. That said- I saw a lot of mixed reviews for this ship before we headed out. It is smaller than the Royal Class ships I had been on before, but in some ways that made it nicer. It wasn't quite as crowded and was at least slightly easier to get around. We got a mini-suite stateroom (D715) and were very surprised at how much room it had. The cabin was very comfortable with two nice flat-screen TVs and an air conditioning system that actually worked (unlike my previous cruise). Medallion Class embarkation was just as-advertised. After a quick passport check and scanning in our medallions, we went to a nice waiting lounge for the ship to start boarding. It was a lot easier and faster than the old cruise card check-in process. Once we boarded- we explored the ship to figure out where everything was. We went up to check out where our stateroom was, and our steward already had it finished (almost an hour early!). As I said in my summary above- we were very surprised at how much space it actually had. We LOVED the large bathroom and sitting area, and extra-large balcony. The furnishings and ship itself are a bit dated. While the electronic systems have all been updated, the furnishings and decor are a bit older and showing some wear. Everything was clean and in good condition though. Most of the lighting is fluorescent, which I found a bit annoying compared to the instant-on LED lighting of the newer ships. Things I loved about the ship: Lots of pools! They have a Sanctuary pool, but beside it- there are two large main pools and one adults-only pool on the aft side of the ship, along with hot tubs at all of them. This gave us a lot of options for different music and crowds while we were onboard. I think the Explorer's Lounge is an upgrade from "Princess Live" on other ships. Very nice bar area and lounge, with frequent entertainment options. Skywalkers. It has kind of a 70s vibe and I'm not really into dancing, but it is a unique feature that I thought was fun and special about this ship. Negatives: The only real negative I have, which I have complained about before, is the almost-constant marketing, in particular from Effy. Beyond that- the "usual" complaints pretty much everyone has about a cruise ship- I felt like I spent way too much time waiting for lifts, and the food choices, particularly in the buffet, weren't the greatest. The latter is really subjective though. Princess Cays: I complained a lot about this place on my last cruise. This one was better. It was actually raining pretty hard when we first got there, but it cleared up after an hour or so and we had a great time. We rented a clamshell/chairs and a paddleboat, and enjoyed a lot of beach time. The beach is rocky part-way out- so bring water shoes, but the sandy areas and water itself were wonderful. Bar service is still slow- they seem to be trying to implement medallions, but still do all of the orders on paper, which is very inefficient. The food was okay for what it was, and the service there was pretty fast. The only real feedback/complaint I have this time is they really need more showers and foot wash areas. We explored St. Thomas on our own, and overall had a great experience shopping and hanging out in the local bars and restaurants. We were supposed to go on a tour (not arranged by Princess) and the guy overbooked and took off 10 minutes before he was supposed to leave, so we missed it. Fortunately we didn't pay in advance! On St. Maarten we did the SXM Airport Adventure boat, booked through Princess. They had a great bar and food on the boat, and took us around to the bay in front of the famous Princess Juliana International Airport. We watched jets and other planes take off and land while enjoying great music, food, and drink. There was snorkeling and floating off of a platform attached to the boat, and the crew was fun and very helpful. I highly recommend that excursion. After that we explored the local shops and bars, and spent a couple of hours on the beach next to town. There are a few sections there where you can rent a beach umbrella and chairs cheap. (We paid $15 for an umbrella and two chairs for the afternoon.) Debarkation went even more smoothly, as they had "EZ-Check" to our airline (Southwest), so we checked our bags through to our destination from our cabin. I think it took less than 10 minutes from our cabin to the shuttle bus to the airport. This is a great service Princess offers if you can take advantage of it. Read Less

We chose our cabin after my husband researched the aft ones. The view could not be beat, as one can see almost all of the port or other islands. Embarkation/Disembarkation was worse than going through TSA at any airport hub. It totally should have taken a lot less than the 30 minutes, coming and going in Port Everglades. Our cabin did not disappoint, as it had lots of closet spaces and plenty of drawers. However, the bathroom could have used an extra sink and some shelves for toiletry storage. The bathtub, with its jets was a complete dream. So good for a soak and rest! Wished that I could have folded it up, and put in the suitcases! The shower was a good one, with a great showerhead that could be adjusted for different streams. The overall shower needed to have a different kind of door that sealed, as there was a stream of water that escaped out the bottom and flooded the bathroom! Dining did not disappoint...plenty of venues and choices. Whether your tastes run to steak, seafood or ice cream, it was all good. The wait staffs and managers were totally top notch!! We had one of our shore excursions cancel, due to nature, and the others were a complete surprise with the places we saw and areas we viewed! Would do it again in a heartbeat!! Read Less

This was my second cruise with Princess can't say enough good things about it. Princess provides an exceptional experience from the beginning to the end, they honestly think of every detail. We stayed one night in Florida, which made our travel to the ship so much better as we were not exhausted from traveling once we were on the ship. There is plenty to do on board, entertainment at just the right times and time to relax and do your own thing. The spa is amazing, casino and bars were fun, pool time was great - several to choose from and each with a different experience (music, TV, quiet...), entertainment/activities were also really good. So much to choose from, you have to plan your day/activities. The shows at night were so impressive, very talented singers and dancers! Excursions at the islands were so fun! I would recommend the Catameran cruise and snorkling - best time! (Castaway Girl was fantastic at St. Thomas! as was Swimming with the Stingrays on Cays Island) Dining, food and overall service is excellent. Plan to eat one night at the Italian restaurant, it was amazing, best meal we had! Princess does a great job of providing a wonderful dining experience while also serving really great food. It is going to be difficult to go back to dining in the MDR after being spoiled like we were. Princess Cays is always a great Port to visit. A great couple of hours swimming and relaxing on the beach plus enjoying the barbecue lunch, really kicked off the start of a great cruise. The live shows were shows we had seen before, but high tech lighting sound that have been added really enhanced them. Well done Princess! Look forward to sailing on the Caribbean Princess again in the future. Read Less

We have never cruised with Princess but we liked the itinerary to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed! This is a fantastic cruise line. The embarkation was flawless. Our stateroom was ready upon arrival. Everything around the ship was clean always. The entertainment was fantastic. We kept busy going from one venue to the next, not to miss anything. Our favorite was Project 5. They interacted with the crowd and were great musicians. They dedicated a song to us for our anniversary. We were so impressed with the buffet line! So clean and not crowded. Never have seen that on any other ship. We like the any time dining and was seated with a fabulous server, Hardika. He made certain that our dining experience was over the top. The food was good but not fabulous in the Michelangelo. But we were never hungry! We met some of the nicest people on the cruise. The clientele was great. We tried to participate in as much as we could but there was plenty that we just couldn't do. Our room was always clean and in order. The food areas were always clean. The Salty Dog had great food, great pizza. Plenty of pools so there was plenty of shade and room in the hot tub and pool. Easy to get around the ship. Drinks were good. Ports were fantastic! It was so much fun. We will definitely go on another Princess Cruise. Disembarkation was a breeze. Very well organized by all. We were very impressed with all of it. Read Less

I had never visited the Eastern Caribbean ports. I enjoyed the different ports: St. Kitts, Martinique, Barbados, Antiqua. St. Thomas. Grand Turks & Caicos plus the weather was beautiful. The ship staff ( waiters and cabin stewards) were wonderful. The terry cloth robe was nice. We had plenty of hangers. The cabin was small. The balcony did not have a foot stool which I would have liked. My roommate was disappointed that she was not able to obtain a chair with arms. We were told that Princess stopped supply chairs with arms. Entertainment was very enjoyable. Movies under the stars showed recent movies such as the Green Book and Mary Poppins.Touring back stage was interesting. Also was able to visit the kitchen. My Princess excursions as a whole were nice . However, I was disappointed with my St Thomas The EZ luggage check was wonderful. My luggage was checked to my return/final city. I visited Ft. Lauderdale post cruise. Yes, I would go again. Read Less

The Regal is a Beautiful Ship, great places to get out of the sun and relax. We have been cruising for 15 years. Until now we have only cruised with Carnival. We have found a new love for cruising with Princess, and we will not go back to Carnival. This is our second cruise with Princess. the Regal Princess is elegant and sophisticated, tablecloths in main dining room EVERY night! Princess is what Carnival used to be when we first started cruising. Princess has fun activities and parties but they are not wild drunken events you will find on a Carnival ship. Nothing against Carnival but our wild party days are gone, now we just want to relax and have fun without all the excessive drunk people, unattended children running in the hallways and loud music everywhere you turn. We have already booked our next cruise with Princess, 15 days to Hawaii. Read Less

We have been on 20 cruises( mostly on Celebrity) and always in a Suite. Princess Regal was our first on Princess Cruise Lines. This was our best experience yet, by far! The ship docks in Berth 2 in Ft. Lauderdale and arrives at 5:30 am. Because of this, the ship is cleared out very early and able to turn around quickly. We arrived at 9:45 am. We were the only ones at luggage drop off. Walked over to terminal to find only about 30 people inside on line waiting for security screening to open. Five minutes later we were though security and walking to an area where our medallions were scanned. Breezed on up to a lounge to have coffee, tea and snacks until we boarded 20 minutes later. (This lounge is a suite/elite cruiser perk) On the ship at 10:20 and eating at the International Cafe. Rooms were ready as well. So efficient! Medallion opens the cabin door as you approach with your photo on a screen. Muster drill was easy as jackets are no longer required. Ate at Crown Grill first night, and it was delicious. A very special dining experience. The shows were very entertaining, but wait for the 10 o'clock. Seats fill up very early for the 8 pm show. In cabin movies were all the Academy Award Winners and nominees. What a wonderful surprise to have such great movies. They are also shown nightly on the big screen on deck and in the afternoon in the Vista Lounge. Main dining room (Concerto) was easy to navigate for anytime dining. Jelena was the greatest waitress! Suites have a separate section called Club Class which has an enhanced menu. Ate lobster 4 times in one week. So indulgent. Service staff was wonderful. Our suite had 2 separate rooms, a double balcony, a very large bathroom and many closets. Our Concierge Lounge was right across the hall from R 605 (our suite) and featured sandwiches, drinks, sweets and a dedicated staff person to help you with your needs. Also a lending library. Room steward, James, was so efficient and nice to us. He was the best ever. Sabatini's offered a suite br.eakfast which was delicious and elegant . Roland made us feel so welcome each morning. Everything on this ship is so well organized and thought out. They really have it all figured out, unlike so many other cruise lines. Disembark was so easy . Everyone was well informed as to the procedure. We walked off with our luggage at 6:28 am, breezed through customs(no forms) and in a cab by 6:40 going to the airport. Already booked our next cruise Feb of next year on the Sky Princess. Can't wait. Princess Regal sets the standard for all others to follow! Read Less

February in the South has been a chilly one this year. I am glad I booked this late Feb trip to my favorite part of the Caribbean, Eastern. It was just the right time to get a sunny warm up while winter lingers in South Carolina. St. Maarten and St. Thomas are great ports. 7 Day Eastern Caribbean on Caribbean Princess. Older ship, dry docked in 2017 for upgrades and the first ship in the Princess fleet I believe to go 100% live with Ocean Medallion. First item regarding older Princess ships, suites have nice big balconies which I have missed while cruising the Royal and Regal. Ok, the atrium is smaller, the Crooner Bar is smaller so is the Good Spirits Bar at the International Cafe but that lends itself to a more intimate experience where you spend time with the other guests. Crew goes out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable. Crown Grill got 100% from me for this trip. Club Class anytime dining was super! It was all of the great comforts you expect and want from a familiar Princess Cruise. Ocean Medallion has some glitches to work out but for the most part it did its job. They are coming out with watch bands soon that you can put your medallion in and wear. Much needed! Embarkations and Disembarkation were THE smoothest and quickest I have ever experienced on any cruise line. Staff and crew are excellent. Shopping and Art Auctions were so much fun. If you have never cruised, this ship will spoil you for the other lines the next time you cruise. 7 days is just right on this ship. Read Less
