Loved the land portion, the boat's a bore

Review for a Asia Cruise on Diamond Princess

Japan and busan were delightful, but this boat is a bore! most of the entertainment has been soloists - a juggler, a magician, a pianist, a harmonica player - and this is in the main theater! the ship is small and there aren't many options provided. the same two violinists, one pianist and a small band rotating around doing the same songs over and over. the food has been unimpressive. some ...

Give Regal a pass for another Princess ship

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Regal Princess

Least favourite of Princess ships. Food is of poorer quality even though the dinner menu is the same on all Princess ships. ventilation system is extremely poor. Did they forget about COVID on this ship. Had many issues on ship but these were addressed quickly ie. shower didn’t work, food was cold in dining room and dirty balcony with broken glass. I am now officially turned off Princess cruises. ...

The Good (lots of it) and sadly the Bad

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Crown Princess

Embarkation: VERY GOOD. We were on the ship within 25 minutes of dropping off our bags. Note for when sailing out of San Francisco, the port is off The Embarcadero and there was heavy traffic getting to the pier. We made the mistake of dropping off our luggage on the street a block south of the pier because of the traffic. If we had waited 5-10 more minutes, we could have dropped it off ...

Welcome to the Carnival of the Princess Fleet

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Caribbean Princess

Let me just start by saying…. My first cruise experience was Carnival. I never went back due to the Loud, party, chaotic atmosphere that some may enjoy but was not my pleasure. Safety and security on and off the boat is a joke. Tender cards are not monitored. First come first serve. We got kicked from our tender boat as other just hopped on when they wanted to go ashore. We waited 1.5hrs to ...

Good, but not the same.

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Regal Princess

This was our third cruise with princess, after having a magnificent time on its sister ship, the Royal princess back in 2017 we thought we'd all get back together and try the regal! There were 10 of us ranging from 22-80 years old. We were all very excited as we had all just loved our time on the Royal princess but I don't know if princess has changed post covid or cruising in general. First ...

Service was sub-par compared to other cruise lines. Reservations are required for dining room & impossible to get. Waiting in line for meals is the norm. You don't have a set seating time, table, or server.so meals are anonymous. Cabibs were VERY small not well cleaned. Mold in showe, shower gel and shampoo, and toilet not cleaned once the entire week.Room service is SLOW; 90 minutes minimum ...

Spectacular show

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Grand Princess

I’ve already done the survey that they send you but realised after I sent it that I hadn’t commented on the born to dance show that I went to see while I was on the cruise . It was absolutely spectacular, I still can’t believe how good it was . I’ve been to watch shows all over including west end and broadway and this was way up there with the best . The singers and dancers were fabulous . Food ...

Older Ship, but Princess has their act together!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We chose this cruise based on a great casino offer. We had sailed on her in 2008 and 2009 when she was fresh and nearly new. Today the ship is in fairly decent shape. Worn areas show in the elevators, and some of the common areas. The crew in general were outstanding! Nice positive vibe from the people who make this party barge go! Princess really had their act together on embarkation, ...

Disappointing

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Grand Princess

Compared to previous Princess cruises, this was definitely a step down in service, food, entertainment. The ambiance of cruising was not there. No dress code for the MDR. Food service slow… MDR was akin to eating at the local diner. The staff did not make the experience ‘special’. Limited engagement with the waitstaff..more of a serve and get it over with vibe. Orders were sometimes ...

Very enjoyable cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Caribbean Princess

My wife and I chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary -- we had never been to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, or Cozumel -- and the timing, which fitted our schedule. (We forgot it was March break, our kids being long grown up). We had done one cruise on Princess years ago, and two each on Norwegian and Royal Caribbean since. Princess seems at least as good as Royal Caribbean, and better than Norwegian, ...
