I all ways wanted to go to a city in Mexico and I had heard that Encinada was a good city to visit I was not disappointed it was great. The shopping was good and the Fish tacos were the best I have ever eaten. The Crown Princess is a beautiful ship and the food was really good. the staff was ready to serve our every need. We had a wonderful time and I have already booked a cruse to Alaska with ...

Short Weekend Cruise

My wife and I went on our second Princess cruise,. The Crown is a little older ship but still pretty nice. I was surprised that the average age for this weekend cruise was much younger than the Caribbean cruise we were on before. Clearly the cheaper weekend cruise out of LA was more of a "booze cruise" than the week-long cruises we have attended in the past. The food was adequate, however in ...

Email promotion from previous agent. Planned to have the cruise after a long busy working period, a very good way to relax. The check in and checked out were very fast, much better than those previous cruises we experienced before. the employees on the board were all very friendly, smiling and with sense of humor, feeling comfortable and at home when talking with them. The dinning room ...

Dirtiest Ship Ever Been On

We were in Los Angeles already and wanted to remain out west for Thanksgiving holidays. Having been on 37 cruises, though never Princess, we decided to try this short trip to Cabo. We knew it would have many children and families, and figured we could overlook that. Embarkation was fine, and the ship seemed reasonably attractive and well appointed. Our room, a balcony cabin, had a large ...

Cruising Thanksgiving Week

A getaway for a California cousin's birthday over Thanksgiving was the impetus for selecting this five night getaway. The pluses: Easy, swift boarding as an Elite Member. Photography team: pleasant and not pushy. Outstanding productions shows three nights: "Disco: Blame it on the Boogie;" "Motor City;" and "Magic to Do: a New Musical." Casual music in the Piazza: the chamber trio was ...

Another Great Crown Princess Cruise

Having flown in to LAX early in the morning, we were greeted by the Princess staff at the airport. We had about a 3 hour wait ahead of us so the staff suggested we go to the coffee shop in the iconic Theme building. It was nice to get a breakfast and have a break from the crowds (and construction). Once we boarded the bus we were whisked away to the port. Embarkation went mostly smooth. As ...

We took our whole family on a cruise to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! It was a short cruise for us but a couple people in our group were on their first cruise so we thought it would be perfect, and it was! We had great weather and tacos & enchiladas on Thanksgiving! We enjoyed the twice daily trivia. We got to play Bingo with our Grandaughters. The Magic show was the highlight of ...

Wonderful Holiday Cruise

A short Holiday cruise from our home port!! We did a Thanksgiving Cruise last year but it was only 4 days long, this one gave us an extra day and an overnight in Cabo. We parked in the cruise ship parking lot and pulled our suitcases up to the door - easy as one - two - three. Checked in within 20 minutes of getting there. We were on the ship at noon, it was great. Since we brought our luggage ...

Princess is our favorite cruise line because of the best organized activities onboard, but we've only been on Holland, P&O, Carnival, and Royal Caribbean. On this trip, we had Theo from Brazil as our Zumba instructor, he is the greatest! I also love the line dancing instructor (her name escaped me), trivia pursuit, games and craft... Love, love, love the Piazza where one can people watch and get ...

Nice getaway over the Thanksgiving Holiday

After many years of hosting Thanksgiving dinners at our home, we decided it was our year for a break. The 5 day cruise to Cabo San Lucas was the perfect option for us given that we live less than a half hour from the LA port where this cruise originates. We are also fans of Princess having been on several cruises with them over the past 20+ years. Embarkation was very easy and we were able to ...
