16-day Cruise with 4 Hawaiian Ports & 1 Mexican Port
"The shore excursion to the Waimea Canyon in Kaua'i was awesome, as was the one to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park in Hilo which included a stop at the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory.I don't get seasick and don't mind rough seas but, for those of you that do, the first 5 sea days from San Francisco to Hawaii we experienced extremely rough waters with major rocking of the ship...."Read More

16-day Cruise with 4 Hawaiian Ports & 1 Mexican Port

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Crown Princess

I chose this cruise because it was a good value for the money I paid for it. It was my 2nd time on Princess. I would cruise with this line again but it is not my favorite. The shore excursion to the Waimea Canyon in Kaua'i was awesome, as was the one to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park in Hilo which included a stop at the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory. There were too many nights in which I ...

Nice 10 day cruise

We chose this cruise because we wanted a cruise longer than 7 days. We enjoy sea days and this one gave us 5 glorious days to relax. Embarkation was a mess as far as dropping off luggage, they appeared to only have 5 or 6 guys collecting luggage. Once we dropped our bags the rest was a breeze, basically walked through security and onboard. Our cabin was in a great location, we chose the Lido ...

Exceptional Staff and service

We have sailed Princess a few times and like their product. The staff on this ship exceeded our expectations! We had the best bartenders of any cruise, especially Jackie in the Explorer's Lounge, Pablo in the Casino and Mike and John in the Wheelhouse bar. Our Waiters, Donald from the Philippines and Juan from Peru along with their helpers were stellar. These people made this trip spectacular! ...

Holiday Cruise to Hawaii with Family

My husband (John) and I recently took our son, DIL, and (most importantly!) our two preteen grandchildren on a 15-day holiday cruise to Hawaii aboard the Crown Princess. We picked this cruise because of the itinerary and the fact that we had large credits from the canceled cruise segment of our Alaska cruise/tour (three of us tested positive for COVID-19 at the last lodge), which had to be used by ...

Entertainment. Poor overall. Didn’t warm to the cruise director personally, prefer a more mature director. No decent shows, only went to theatre once and that was enough. Food. Started off ok but got better as the cruise went on. Didn’t feel the Crown Grill was as high end as we’ve had on previous Princess cruises but was still nice. Sabitinis excellent. Buffet was ok but food usually cold. ...

Short Weekend Cruise

My wife and I went on our second Princess cruise,. The Crown is a little older ship but still pretty nice. I was surprised that the average age for this weekend cruise was much younger than the Caribbean cruise we were on before. Clearly the cheaper weekend cruise out of LA was more of a "booze cruise" than the week-long cruises we have attended in the past. The food was adequate, however in ...

We take a couple of these short cruises yearly to unplug and unwind. We did find that the customer service was not to the level we have come to expect from Princess. Speakeasy Cigar Lounge; Usually there is a remote control for the television in the cigar lounge, on this trip there was not. As this is the only place one can smoke a cigar, it would be nice to actually be able to go in smoke ...

Our service was excellent. The food was very good. This was our first cruise. The Jazz band was very good as well as the other musical performers. We really did not participate in all the other activities available. We didn't go on any port excursions because we have already gone to Santa Barbara and we had no interest in going to Encinadas. If we were to go on another cruise , I guess my ...

Nice Getaway

Enjoyed our little getaway. Crown Princess - 4 days including Santa Barbara and Ensenada. We took a little trolley tour in Santa Barbara but did not get off the ship in Ensenada. We had no agenda, just a relaxing time away from home with no cooking, cleaning or worries. The cabin we chose was a balcony with queen bed. I like that each cabin has a small fridge and it was always stocked ...
