We joined six other family members on this cruise. This was our second time sailing on a princess ship. Boarding took a bit of time and we had to wait quite awhile, but disembarkment was extremely smooth. We had an aft cabin, unfortunately it was located next to a noisy vent. Making it hard to sleep. We enjoyed the trivia games, but did not care for the musical productions. Our whole group ...
We wanted to celebrate our 48th anniversary and we've always enjoyed Princess. Our experience on the Island Princess and now the Crown means we'll only use Princess if it is a newer ship.
We had fun on the cruise. We did any time dining and shared tables and every meal we met great folks, had good conversations and decent, sometimes great food. Our room was a mini suite and while old, it was ...
We chose this cruise because we enjoyed a similar Princess Cruise through the Panama Canal and area. We were disappointed in this one. The ship really shows its age--rust on the balcony, scratches on the elevator doors, worn carpets.
Princess has a major problem with communication. Most of the crew speaks broken English, and it's difficult to understand directions. But the pre-cruise ...
The good:
Princess Medallion system is excellent, fast embarkation, easy room access, order stuff right from your phone app.
Ship based internet is now reliable and has good speed.
Caribbean in February is awesome. 85f and sunny every day is just what we were looking for.
Crew workers as always are giving it their best.
Loved Ford vs Ferrari movie on the big outside screen.
And ...
We picked this cruise for the itinerary and length of cruise. My initial thought was that Princess and Celebrity are about on par, which really is not the case.

Ship and Entertainment: There are lots of little hidden spots to find a place to sit and relax. The entertainment is really good on Princess and there are lots of little venues to see the entertainment. Lots of music ...
The itinerary, 10 days southern Caribbean, but we had to skip one port of call, because of the generator the ship couldn't go full speed and two other port of calls the times where shortened. All in all it was a nice cruise, friendly staff, good food, the entertainment had a lot to be desired. The cruise Director was great. the pizza and ice cream were good. We were always able to find chairs at ...
I was with a group of over 50 from our neighborhood. We did this two years ago on another princess cruise ship with much better results. By the time we left over 15 of us were sick. The gym area is ground zero for passing germs and not only were you it of wipes one day but there was NEVER any attendant in the area to make sure those machines were wiped down after use. Yet you couldn’t walk ...
The Crown must lie heavy on the brow of Carnival Corporation. She really needs an overhaul. A generator malfunctioned so the ship could not make speed. Ports were dropped and stays were shortened. Too slow. We did receive some onboard credit.
The majority of people we spoke to said the mattresses were like hammocks. Too soft. The coffee in the buffet was so thick and syrupy that a remedy of ...
We chose this cruise because there were three ports we hadn't see yet Grand Turk, Saint Kits, and Antigua. We had booked our flights our selves and within ten days of departure we were informed that Princess changed the method they allow passengers to board. Were were assigned a boarding time of 2:30pm, which caused us to change our travel plans. However, we were able to board by 1:30. We also ...
I chose this line because my sister swears by it and the itinerary took us to an island we had never visited before. We chose a balcony cabin because that is the type we choose on all cruises we take. This one was advertised at over 200 sq. ft. but that must have included the large balcony because the cabin was too small to accommodate a couch as we have had on all of our other cruises. This ...
