Ship was ok. I would be willing to sail on the Crown again, if necessary
"Cruising with my friends, all 65+ I wanted a warm Caribbean destination to escape winter. Due to weather and an engine problem that was known before sailing, we skipped 3 islands out of 5. Princess was nice and..."Read More

The ship is going to be refurbished soon, and a lot of the wooden surfaces need refinishing, and this is an older ship than others, but we had a wonderful cruise on Crown Princess. The crew was wonderful. The Cruise Director did just the right amount of talking/not talking. The Cruise Director's staff put on a wonderful game show called Hollywood Hiccups that was the funniest and best I've ever ...

I chose this cruise last Fall because of the ports, length of time in port, and the sailing date. I had sailed on the Crown Princess in 2019 and was happy with that experience. By the time we sailed much had changed. The Coronavirus was escalating slowly when we left Port Everglades so our major change was skipping Princess Cays and a revision to our itinerary. As far as the crew and ...

Cruising with my friends, all 65+ I wanted a warm Caribbean destination to escape winter. Due to weather and an engine problem that was known before sailing, we skipped 3 islands out of 5. Princess was nice and gave us credit for future sailings. No complaints there. The food was mostly good to very good. Desserts were disappointing in the buffet. At dinner, they were a little better. ...

We chose this cruise because it was 10 days, 6 ports and a good value. We also had only done Carnival before, so we wanted to try something different. WOW!!! We should have made another choice. When we got on the cruise, the captain informed us that an engine was broken, so we would not be able to make it to our first port in time. Well, that broken engine actually created many more problems. We ...

Not Too Good on Crown Princess Christmas Cruise

Crown Princess is a beautiful ship, but not beautifully designed, it is all very bland in colors and finishes. One area looks like every other area. Nothing unique or memorable. Cold, cold, cold ship.... cold in your state room, cold in the restaurant, cold in the common areas of the ship. Even with the 2 room thermostat’s set on high heat, the room remained extremely cold. It is a miserable ...

First family - friends- we got along just really good,8 in our group. We could all get together like dinner or go in separate direction. We had out suite at the rear of the ship. Many of our activities were froward. This gave us our walks everyday. You would think this was a negative thing but was vary positive for us.We were getting our walks in without ever noticing the energy-calories we were ...

We decided to go 3 days prior to departure. No problem at all with check in. Traveling with 2 seniors. They do not have the medallion system working as well as it should. It was also useless for the seniors who are not into technology or smart phones. That did become an issue. Princess needs a backup plan for those seniors. We asked for no down feathers in the room and for 3 days we ...

We did have 2 balcony cabins on deck 10 Caribe. Embarkation was swift and without a problem. The cabins, what to say about the cabins. The wear and tear is visible all over. The floors of the balconies were full of rust, paint spatters all over. Modern travelers carry with them a multitude of electric equipment, like phones and tablets. There is no way to charge them. There are 2 ...

I selected this cruise because of the good itinerary. I enjoyed all destinations. My problem was with the Crown Princess ship and services. The food was the worst I’ve experienced on any cruise. Everything is very controlled. Only option for beverage in cafeteria for self serve is water or ice tea. There is a sign stating you can request lemonade from a server. And then you stand there and wait ...
