Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Crown Princess

The Itinerary and time of year was great. It was a repositioning cruise. Many people on board that do this as they fly in early to enjoy Europe and then get back to the US. The itinerary was nice and interesting. Most disappointing was the food quality and their menus besides had no flavor and was cold, when it was served at the sit down dining. This was new for us as the food quality and ...

Good service, food and entertainment but public areas need new upholstery- old, stained and grimy. The excursions were enjoyable except for the “foodie walking tour of Naples”. We paid a lot for tiny portions eaten on our feet. Walk around on your own. Our foodie tour in Rome was much better. Toni Brancatisano did an excellent job of showing us her local places. Our archeology tour in Santorini ...

Great Itinerary--Ship not so great

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Crown Princess

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. The crew is excellent and the true wealth of the Princess Cruise Line. The balcony cabin on the Aloha deck was tired and in need of a serious makeover. The food on this cruise was sub-standard and poor quality--tough pork and beef--poor selections--fish (trout) that the wonderful waiter told me not to order--he had already returned several portions ...

Wonderful Mediterranean Cruise

We chose this cruise mainly based on the itinerary but also our only previous cruise experience had been with Princess on an Alaskan cruise and we had a great time. Overall we had a wonderful trip and really didn't have any of the negative experiences/issues I had read about on this site. We had one of the club class mini suites which has a more central location on the ship but the main perk was ...

This was our 4th cruise with Princess, but this was the first time where we had difficulty obtaining a seat in the Horizon dining area due to people placeing objects on chairs and tables to reserve seats for others that were not even in the Dining area at all. Walking shore excursions were somewhat rushed although very factual for the time we had. Tenders were great with the exception of one which ...

How can they have a Mo Town Review with no black performers? They put one man in a black afro... In other performances, wonderfully talented singers and dancers were stuck with mediocre material. The Crown Band was great. The Magic to Do show was fun. We liked Eileen Gray and the 3 Tenors. There was a problem with people saving seats. Princess needed to give out tickets and if people ...

Good deal on an excellent ship. Nice Itenary. visiting fascinating countries. Food was reasonable and the staff was always professional. Would definitely cruise with Princess again. They demonstrated great attention to the details and kept their focus on the passenger. Princess personnel do a wonderful job with embarkation. The cruise begins when you get on board, Nice aptmosphere on a can ...

Customer service disapointing on ship

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Crown Princess

I thought the boat was nice and the cruise destinations were good, however the staff and cruise line were very uninformative. There was a change to our first port of call and we were not told at all. Hence missed out on a tour for the Amalfi coast drive not booked through the ship. Customer service of staff was appalling and the staff did not make us feel like we were welcome. everything was ...

We are a senior couple who choose this cruise mainly for the ports which didn't disappoint. We used princess transfers before and after cruise. We also booked our flights and our cruise insurance thru them. Using princess transfers we got to the ship early afternoon. At that time our cabin was ready. Our cabin was E320 obstructed view on deck 8 mid ship. The obstruction to the outside was ...
