Great Pacific cruise from Brisbane to Hawaii and back
"Entertainment was probably not as good as pre Covid cruises but things take time to get back to what they were.Meals in the Bordeaux dining room were quite good but did seem to improve once the World Cruise began in Auckland...."Read More

A wonderful cruise

I love the Pacific Ocean, the islands and the Pacific People. I like a lot of sea days as shore visits take a toll of my damaged feet. I'm a loyal Princess cruiser and also have been on the Coral Princess before and love the smaller ship with the amazing quirky decor. In terms of the staff - they were all so lovely and friendly. I've added a photo to show that we are not the average couple, ...

We were in a mini suite on Dolphin deck …we had water ingress through the balcony after rain but Mr Fixit came with his trolley and repairs were done asap . Well done! Our stateroom steward Romella was delightful ….our room was attended to while we were at breakfast without fail ! The bed was so comfortable as were the pillows. Lots of storage and hanging space and the bathroom was quite spacious ...

*Princess contacted us as the previous cruise had been cancelled. (BNE to BNE) They offered BNE to Syd, we declined. The first red flag was when we were given a 'personal cruise advisor, not in Australia but the US' What? The time zone made it impossible for us to communicate at a suitable time. Messages constantly missed, therefore had to wait for the next opportunity to speak. This ...

This was an amazing 60 day cruise that went much faster than we thought. We loved the ports in Asia (all but one in Vietnam) - Enjoyed the activities on board. Liked the smaller ship as you got to know more people. As we were headed to Asia there were Typhoons in the area where we were headed and our Captain with the LA office took our safety into account and we did not get to one ...

Big Disappointment

We have been on 61 cruises, of which almost half have been on Princess. This was the worst of the Princess cruises we've been on. Severely cut back on crew, food service, little things and everything. Bare bones. Horrible food in dining room with slow service. Apparent morale problem with 90% of crew. Other cruise ships like their officers walking about and connecting with passengers; we seldom ...

At 60 days, this was the longest cruise we've ever sailed on. I found it interesting that by day 2 I was hearing such a strong undertone of dissatisfaction from a number of frequent cruisers, one of whom was already "adding to my list of complaints when we get back".. Ridiculous, we had barely gotten under way. This aside, here is the good, bad and the unfortunate in my humble opinion. The ...

Plus and Minuses

The plus side of the cruise was the itinerary, food, service and production shows. Although we have seen all production shows in the past. The entertainment in general was poor with the cruise director NOT connecting with the passengers. Some of the activities listed in the Princess Patter did not take place at the times specified. Supposedly they were announced over the PA but it was not heard or ...
