Great Pacific cruise from Brisbane to Hawaii and back

We were in a mini suite on Dolphin deck …we had water ingress through the balcony after rain but Mr Fixit came with his trolley and repairs were done asap . Well done! Our stateroom steward Romella was delightful ….our room was attended to while we were at breakfast without fail ! The bed was so comfortable as were the pillows. Lots of storage and hanging space and the bathroom was quite spacious ...

*Princess contacted us as the previous cruise had been cancelled. (BNE to BNE) They offered BNE to Syd, we declined. The first red flag was when we were given a 'personal cruise advisor, not in Australia but the US' What? The time zone made it impossible for us to communicate at a suitable time. Messages constantly missed, therefore had to wait for the next opportunity to speak. This ...

I’d wanted to do the PNG cruise, so when the bargain balconies became available on the Coral late last year, I signed up. The cruise left from Brisbane where I have family to drop me off at the port. Embarkation/Debarkation It was just so organised after the debacle I had had to endure at Station Pier last Nov. I was dropped off at 11am. My boarding time was noon. There were attendants ...

Successful First Cruise

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Coral Princess

The Coral Princess was recommended to us by a Youtuber and they were shown to be so right. In brief I loved it. The embarkation process from Brisbane was not as chaotic as I feared and we were on board in under 30 minutes. However I have to say that lots of people ignored their arrival notifications and they were the cause of any difficulty others may have faced. Our Balcony Cabin seemed ...

Not the best experience, but not the worse.

Our first cruise back after Covid-19 The good - Medallion system is excellent and the phone application works well. Wherever on the ship we were we could be found for servicing drinks and food. All the staff were to the great Princess standards. The food and selection was great and we used both specialty restaurants and rate them both highly. Also the pizzas from Alfredo's in Sabatini's ...

Being my first cruise post covid lock down, and our very first princess cruise, I had very high expectations. I have only previously sailed with Royal Caribbean and found the 12 night Queensland cruise and its ports on offer from princess very appealing. Once we boarded the Coral princess the high standards of its crew started to show. The crew were always very happy to see and greet you as ...

The last cruise we were on was on an Oceania ship. We were spoiled and were not expecting that much from Princess. We were pleasantly surprised as it was lovely. The food on Princess is not as yummy as Oceania but everything was pretty good. The turkey dinner on Thanksgiving was surprisingly good considering how many people ordered it. We chose this cruise because our kids live in San ...

Relaxing trip from ocean to ocean

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Coral Princess

We chose this cruise for 2 reasons: Embark from SF and the Panama Canal passage. Embarkation with Princess in SF is consistently one of the best experiences we have ever had. We showed up at the port when we were instructed to and were on the ship in all of 7 minutes after leaving the car. There was no lines anywhere, we walked through security, got our ship cards, and walked on the boat. ...

We had never seen the Panama Canal and this time worked well with our schedule. The shipboard entertainment in the evening was varied and of good quality. We particularly enjoyed the violinist and piano duo of Consonance and the choice of comedians, musicians and singers were excellent for such a small ship. The food was very good at all meals and at times excellent. The excursions were a mixed ...

We chose this cruise as a must do - bucket list. The ship was clean and well maintained. The staff and crew were courteous, kind and helpful. The food in all restaurants was excellent. The cruise director and his staff kept us busy and well informed throughout the cruise. The tenders at the port of calls were fast and efficient. The tours we were on were great. There is a lot of variety for all ...
