Booked this cruise for the ports which were fabulous. Overall experience for our first time on Princess was disappointing. I expected better service, better food, vacuumed stateroom every day which we didn't get. There were 8 of us traveling and we all picked the Anytime Dining option which was anything but "anytime" unless you wanted to wait an hour to be seated. They wouldn't accept a ...
We sailed on the Regal Princess for the Baltic Cruise. We love the Regal. Even though the ship has a lot of passengers, it never felt crowded. We had a mini suite on the Lido deck, as we like the little rocking at night, but atlas the seas were so smooth, there was no rocking.
The Regal uses the Medallion. Embarkation took under 5 minutes and your cabin door opens as you move towards it. ...
Our travel agent in good faith helped us decide on the subject cruise. The decision was driven largely by the ports of call, and a generally good experience expressed by other clients regarding Princess.
We are not seasoned cruisers but we travel extensively with bookings we do on our own. We were on a cruise with Royal Caribbean many years ago and two years ago with Celebrity. It was the ...
I was on the Regal Princess for the 11 night Northern Europe cruise. This is a two week cruise that goes to many different countries. Here are my impressions of the cruise.
Wifi for the first week was absolutely terrible. I had enough wifi for instant messaging but activities such as browsing a website will not work. The connection was terrible. The wifi improved during the second week but ...
This is our second time with Princess Cruise and we are not regretted at all. The food is excellent and service is every caring. The only thing we don't like is this ship just has too many passengers. The Horizon Court for dining is terribly crowded, stretched with its capacity. We would prefer a smaller ship for next cruise.
Embarkation and disembarkation by Princess was easy & smooth. But the ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We would have preferred embarking/disembardking in Copenhagen and Stockholm but could not find this itinerary. Also, I think most people would have preferred more time in Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo than a sea day and whole day in Berlin. I know it must be very profitable to Princess and I cannot imagine spending six hours on a train and 4-5 hours ...
There were 13 of us on this cruise ages 85 to 6. Everything from embarkation to disembarkation went smoothly.
We had a dining table in the dining room for all 13 of us. The food and service was excellent. Our dining staff became friends and like family. They were wonderful with the 4 children.
The children really liked their play area on the ship. They made friends with children from ...
We will never cruise with Princess Cruises again. We booked the airfare through Princess Air, with all hopes that things would go well. Just the opposite occurred. Our initial flight to O'Hare (where the flight to Copenhagen originated) was delayed and we received zero assistance from Princess Air or anyone else connected to Princess Cruises. Many, many phone calls were made to no avail (the ...
It's nice to be in Scandinavia in the summer as the weather is the best of the year. Temps were around 57-72 in most ports.
Our itinerary was The Baltic Sea: Stockholm, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Tallin, Berlin, Oslo and Copenhagen.
Embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze with the new medallion pre check in. An excellent service. Literally it took seconds to check in and our luggage ...
This was our first Baltic cruise. Princess cruise lines did an excellent job. Embarkation was a breeze. The Medallion service still has start up problems as many employees are not up to speed, but it has worthwhile features. They only updated one account with the Beverage package and the waiter had to get the other one added. The Medallion really does not do too much more than the cruise card ...
