Exceptionnal logistics to embark, disembark and access to excursions on shore. Very efficient, well oragnised, easy to deal with.
Roomy cabins with balconies for almost everyone.
Very usefull medaillon (RF ID). The cabin door unlocks automatically as you approach it. You can buy anything on board and even on shore (to access hop-on hop-off bus tours starting at the dock), without further ...
My wife and I had a great time on a our first cruise, a 12 day, 9 port cruise around the British Aisles. The Regal Princess is an amazing ship with 3,000 passengers and 1,400 crew. Princess really hyped the "Medallion Class" cruise which turned out to be a medallion with NFC that let you unlock your door, record your leaving and returning to the ship, and pay for stuff. It also included some ...
My wife wanted to cruise the Baltics. Weather was good excluding St Petersburg, not the cruise line's fault. However we booked thru the cruise line, with inclement weather we were stopped from entering for 1 hour 45 minutes - absolute ridiculous - then had to be rushed through - on the bus for a late arrival to the ship.
Nickel and dime everytime you want water or soft drinks, is terrible. ...
This is our second time with Princess Cruise and we are not regretted at all. The food is excellent and service is every caring. The only thing we don't like is this ship just has too many passengers. The Horizon Court for dining is terribly crowded, stretched with its capacity. We would prefer a smaller ship for next cruise.
Embarkation and disembarkation by Princess was easy & smooth. But the ...
It's nice to be in Scandinavia in the summer as the weather is the best of the year. Temps were around 57-72 in most ports.
Our itinerary was The Baltic Sea: Stockholm, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Tallin, Berlin, Oslo and Copenhagen.
Embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze with the new medallion pre check in. An excellent service. Literally it took seconds to check in and our luggage ...
We are seasoned cruisers with DH finally reaching the “laundry” level on Princess. We have originally booked Alaska on Royal, but switched to Regal in Baltic fairly last minute. We do love the Royal Class ships – better buffet, Alfredo’s, Princess Live, Enclave, etc. Below are my thoughts and observations from our 11 day Baltic adventure.
Ship. We have sailed on Regal last year before Medallion ...
We were on the Royal Princess Feb/March 2019 on the South America cruise and thought the Baltic Cruise on the Regal Princess early June, would be a good comparison of the two ships. While both ships have similar decor and design we were somewhat disappointed in the Regal Princess.
We thought the age of this ship showed. The staff did not seem as friendly and happy. It was rare to see ships ...
Took sister and husband with us. As beginners, they were very satisfied with the overall experience. We are long-time Princess cruisers, and were quite happy overall. In particular, the entertainment was better than usual for this line, with an excellent cast and orchestra. Hearing Daniel Oliver sing at the piano was great, as we heard him some years ago on a different ship. Also appreciated ...
We choose this cruise because of the itinerary and it definitely met our expectations. We enjoyed each port and would highly recommend it if you want to see major cities in the Baltic. We loved the MedallionClass on the Regal, simple to use and much nicer than the cards. The food was excellent in all venues though the burgers at the grill were bland and as a popular item could do better. The ship ...
Just returned from a 7 day cruise 5 day land trip on Princess to Alaska.Have sailed the last three years on the sister ships to this one the Regal and the Majestic so very familiar with the layout of the ship. This one is the oldest of the three and some small gripes.1 The laundromat machines for tokens were not working half the time we were on here and 2 the drink machine in the Fitness Center was ...
