What appeared to be a good choice of varied destinations turned out to be a damp squib. Having just been refitted we were surprised that it did not look bright and new! Embarkation and cabin, when found as not shown on ship signage, was up to standard. The bed and bed linen were exceptional. Layout of ship was as per usual with Princess.
Dining in the main dining rooms was Anytime which we much ...
What a disappointment. The whole ship was dirty and neglected. The food was marginal at best. The crew were robots just going through the motions. Guest Services was slow to respond and for the most part ineffective when they did. We talked to hundreds of fellow passengers who felt the same. All vowing to never sail with Princess again. Most feeling that complaining would be futile. I don't think ...
Choose this for the sea days to relax. Loved the time to explore the ship top to bottom. Embarkation was delayed due to problems beyond their control and we were notified by Princess and our TA in a timely manner. Stayed at our hotel with other cruisers and made early friendships! When we arrived at the port, we quickly walked on to the ship. We had anytime dining.....very good. ...
the crew was great the dancers and the comedian and male singer ac singers also. the food was good for the most part but the soups and a lot of other items had too much salt. I mean TOO MUCH way too much. It was like someone misread the recipe and put in a kilo instead of a pound. The fruit and pastries were all good. We wish they would have moved the tvfrom the has the same color rugs, no more ...
We chose the Caribbean Princess European capitals cruise because of the great itinerary. We really enjoyed all the ports of call. It is worth taking this cruise for the excellent itinerary.
This was the second cruise after the Caribbean Princess had come out of a major refit. The refit was not completed in drydock and we were surprised to see workers installing new carpet in many public areas ...
We chose this cruise for the ports of call. The itinerary was the perfect balance of major cruise ports and variable sea days.
This was our second Princess cruise. Our first was last spring (Spring Break!) on the Emerald Princess. This year, the Caribbean Princess European Capitols cruise exceeded our expectations!
The Ship: With this being the second cruise post dry dock. the freshness and ...
We have been on over 30 cruises and are Platinum on Princess
In November 2016 we contacted Princess and explained that my wife had recently been diagnosed with Gluten Ataxia, (a rare form of Coeliac Disease where gluten attacks her brain) and that I was gluten intolerant. He assured us that Princess Cruises could provide us with a variety of good quality gluten free food providing we gave them ...
I always wanted to go on a trans alantic cruise and found it a very relaxing way to cross the ocean. The Princess Caribbean was a great ship and lots to do during the day or night. I didnt really like the upgrade or re-do of the buffet on Lido deck, less choices to eat, but I really enjoyed dining in the palm dining room for breakfast, supper.I always wanted to see Paris, but it was real cold, but ...
After several cruises, we decided to go for a transatlantic one and see how we would like so many days at sea. We liked it a lot!
We live in Florida and rented a car through Budget for drop off near the cruise pier. This worked real well and the Budget shuttle was a good one. Since we would be flying home from London, leaving our car in parking was not an option. I would recommend Budget for ...
This was our first Transatlantic voyage. The renovations to the ship were very noticeable as we had sailed twice before. Enjoyed the BBQ based Planks restaurant which replaced the Horizon buffet. They had great tasting options for breakfast and lunch at no charge.
The new beds were very comfortable for us but we did hear a few people had to have a board put under the mattress.
The formal ...
