This was our third Princess Cruise and we were not disappointed. From arrival at the terminal embarkation was speedy and we were onboard within 30 minutes. We had guaranteed cabins that were allocated 2 days before sailing A219 & A235 balcony cabins on Aloha Deck. These cabins were great no footfall from other passengers and cabins above and below us. They are forward cabins but this was no issue ...

Excellent cruise. Biggest ship so far, all worries unfounded. Did not feel you were on a ship with so many other passengers. Queues for embarkation only, lots of staff, queues moving all the time. Cabin excellent, balcony, very good size, dressing room with full length mirror outside bathroom, plenty of storage space. Bathroom and shower excellent, perfect size. Power shower. All staff ...

About 5 years ago we did a cruise with Princess to Panama. It was absolutely outstanding. Thus, we were very excited at the prospect of being the beneficiaries of the Princess experience once again. We boarded the Caribbean Princess at Southampton at the Queen Elizabeth terminal. Check in involved queuing but nothing too terrible. In reading this review there are a few points that should be ...

This was our first cruise in the Baltic. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed all the ports. Our room was on the 5th floor, 301 with a small window. The room was great except that it is right over where you disembark for shore excursions so we always heard loud sounds on those days early in the morning. We also felt quite a jolt when they opened the door! The food was excellent. We had a ...

Fantastic weather (13/14 hot sunny days), interesting places to visit, good company, good, food, excellent service. Who could ask for more? Well apparently some of the moaning minies who shared this trip with us. I have to wonder why some people bother going on a cruise when all they want to do is find fault (and most of it unjustified). Just let me get this out of my system. I have never found ...

This was our 14th cruise & 2nd with Princess, having previously sailed with them 5 years ago. We were shocked with how the standards have dropped and will not be choosing Princess again... I will begin by discussing the positives & then offer the lowdown on the many reasons we will not choose Princess again. POSITIVES: The itinerary was great and we thoroughly enjoyed every stop with the ...

After booking this cruise last year I didn't really know what to expect as reviews on this site have been mixed. So hear goes. We travelled to Southampton to meet the ship, the journey taking approx 2 hours, which was good given the amount of traffic on Sat 1 Aug. The embarkation process was faultless and we boarded the ship at 11.30am, we where able to go straight to our stateroom whereupon two ...

What to expect on a 5* ship?

Before I start it’s maybe good to know that this was my first cruise ever. So I don’t know if my expectations are maybe too high. For me I compare this 5* ship with an at least 4* hotel. I travelled together with my brother who was cruising years ago with Costa. The embarkation was very smoothly. On-board they told us that the rooms were not ready yet, but if we wanted to lunch we may use the ...

We loved the whole trip and thought we would mention a few things we found useful onboard for others... Firstly - if you like spa activities but cant afford the high costs, there is a sneaky free to use sauna and steam room ( both lovely) in the changing room for the spa. As its also just a changing room any ladies can use it. It has lovely white fluffy towels, nice toiletries and big showers. ...

We have cruised only once before on Independence of the Seas. Whilst this was indeed a beautiful ship with excellent facilities, we preferred the Caribbean Princess. We liked to take in the sun away from the main areas around the dj music and outdoor cinema and were always able to find sun loungers in more quiet spots and near splash pools. Whilst we didn't take part in many onboard ...
