Having read a number of less than positive reviews about Carribbean Princess I was very pleasantly surprised. While looking a little tired in places overall we found her in pretty good shape. This was our 14th cruise & 2nd with Princess, having previously sailed with them 5 years ago. We were shocked with how the standards have dropped and will not be choosing Princess again... We heard so many people who'd booked well in advance and had paid way over what others ( including us) had paid even after taking off things like onboard credit they still paid much more.

We loved the whole trip and thought we would mention a few things we found useful onboard for others...
Firstly - if you like spa activities but cant afford the high costs, there is a sneaky free to use sauna and steam room ( both lovely) in the changing room for the spa. As its also just a changing room any ladies can use it. It has lovely white fluffy towels, nice toiletries and big showers. ...

We have cruised only once before on Independence of the Seas. Whilst this was indeed a beautiful ship with excellent facilities, we preferred the Caribbean Princess.
We liked to take in the sun away from the main areas around the dj music and outdoor cinema and were always able to find sun loungers in more quiet spots and near splash pools.

This was our third Princess Cruise and we were not disappointed. From arrival at the terminal embarkation was speedy and we were onboard within 30 minutes. Excellent cruise.
Biggest ship so far, all worries unfounded. Did not feel you were on a ship with so many other passengers. Queues for embarkation only, lots of staff, queues moving all the time.
