We picked the land and sea 11 day tour so we could appreciate Alaska's way of life as well as seeing animals in the wild and the ice glaciers. We accomplished everything we had wanted to see and do. Princess Cruise gave us a great experience on land and sea. They have their act together from the time you land and until you disembark. we purchased the meal ticket and saved a bundle. The food was ...
Do Not purchase internet time on the cruise. Expensive, painfully slow, and you use up minutes when you are kicked off server. We booked an excursion to see bears in Ketchican and did not see any. Try to avoid the buffet and eat in the dining area to have a much better experience ...

Our first stop was Ketchikan; wish we had had more time there. We did the 7am to 11am Ketchikan Salmon Fishing Excursion, which I do not recommend unless you are just wanting your own salmon. The only part you play is watching the end ...
