We chose this as our bucket list cruise around the world. First the two items that were positive about this cruise: 1.The cabin stewards and the personnel in the Horizon Cafe were terrific when it came to service 2.The Horizon Cafe Buffet had a great selection of food which was well prepared and had a tremendous variety. Unfortunately those are the only god things I can report about this ...

Great itinerary, generally good execution

Chose the Ft. Lauderdale to Fort Lauderdale world cruise for the excellent scheduled itinerary. Was a bit concerned about the reconfiguration of the ship that replaced the aft lounge with additional cabins. Also concerned about general age and condition of ship based on reviews. The delivered itinerary exceeded expectations, even with a number of ports cancelled due to weather. Princess ...

World Cruise - not a true World Cruise - Do Not Waste your money or time

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Island Princess

A World Cruise (WC) was on my bucket list and Princess is our preferred Cruise Line (4 of us). This was NOT a cruise I would repeat nor recommend. The Island Princess is old and needs A LOT of repairs - rust, mildew, mold, water leaks, cabin entry doors not opening and more. All major safety issues - I worked in Transportation Safety for over 20 years and Island is NOT a safe ship unless it has ...

We booked our World Cruise while on Antartica cruise 2020 on the Coral Princess. We had such a good time we decided to book the World Cruise 2021. The cruise was pushed to 2023 due to covid. Island Princess was rusty from the day we boarded Jan05. The entire ship was rusty. The sea witch logo was crying rust tears. The menu in the dining for 111 days never changed. We never had a hot meal. The ...

A Cautionary Tale

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Regal Princess

We wanted to do a transatlantic cruise and we thought Princess would be a great choice for this. Embarkation in Barcelona was chaotic and slow, but all went very well after. Koror Montenegro was a surprise - the old city is fascinating. The itinerary through the Mediterranean was terrific. The food was very good to excellent and the buffet particularly impressed. We ate about half our dinners in ...

Sky Princess Sadly Not For Me

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Sky Princess

Firstly let me say this review is based entirely on my experience on board the Sky Princess, others will no doubt have different viewpoints to what follows. For me the ship is poorly designed - Everything seemed to take place on three decks 5,6 and 7 thus giving rise to the possibility of having 3500 people plus in just three areas at times. As always the staff were excellent and couldn't ...

Last minute booking for an inside room to Canaries, Madeira and Vigo from Southampton. Premium package taken. In general pleased with the 10 day trip. Food was good. The MDR food was good, we took several evening meals and a couple of lunches. Service was generally good but the wine did take an age to arrive eg. ordered before a starter arriving with main 30 mins later. Formal night was ...

Terrible service, long queue, mediocre food

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Enchanted Princess

Chose this cruise for my 65th birthday. Found the medallion service prior to cruise, hit and miss kept freezing and I had to reboot my iPad many times. Was informed by our Car parking people that the ship had changed terminals, nothing from Princess. Huge delays caused by this, due on board ship at 12.30 final boarded 15.00. Long queues to go through customs etc. stood out side in 35 ...

This will be our last ever cruise with Princess

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Sky Princess

We were so ready and looking forward to our first cruise since the dreaded covid pandemic. We were attracted by the Daily Mail advertisement by ROL for the 12 day all inclusive cruise to the canaries. We duly booked and paid about 4 weeks before departure. Travelled to Southampton and parked our car. Mini bus took us to the pier and this was when the tone of the forthcoming cruise was ...
