I chose this cruise to fulfill my bucketlist excursion to Tasmania AND New Zealand. Tasmania and New Zealand did not disappoint but the cruiseship did for a single traveler. Despite having been on Princess cruises with an active single program, this ship offered NOTHING for singles. On Princess You pay 200% as a single cruiser but you get nothing for the extra cost.

We chose this cruise for the locations it was scheduled to visit. The Cities in Australia were varied and all were interesting and friendly. Thankfully the fires were not threatening Sydney or Melbourne while we were there. I wish them well as the fires have gotten worse. The visit to Tasmania was even better. The Fiordlands NP was great, but I wondered why the sites visited were so far apart. ...

It was a xmas cruise and was australia tasmania and new zealand. would have done 3 days in bay of islands at the end of our cruise if we had been aware. Lack of signage on stairwell and floors. theatre too small and countless passengers were reserving seats. Great experience in da vinci. I love Princess , but had never done a Christmas New Year Cruise so I done three back to back. 13/12/19 - 13/01/20 This turned out to be more of a P&O Australia Cruise . The Low quality and not the usual expectation from Princess.

It was our second cruise on the Majestic Princess this year and it just gets better! All the food was amazing in the dining room and all the other complimentary options but the specialty restaurants were so much better than last time. Well executed and presented food. . Destinations of Melbourne and Tasmania were great ports to visit.

The open cinema is state of the art
The public area is not congested
The food service is diversified and multicultural
The mandatory grand washing before entering the dining hall is very EFFECTIVE in preventing food poisoning
