Loved Tasmania and New Zealand but cruise was something else

I chose this cruise to fulfill my bucketlist excursion to Tasmania AND New Zealand. Tasmania and New Zealand did not disappoint but the cruiseship did for a single traveler. Despite having been on Princess cruises with an active single program, this ship offered NOTHING for singles. On Princess You pay 200% as a single cruiser but you get nothing for the extra cost. The evening shows were ...

We chose this cruise for the locations it was scheduled to visit. The Cities in Australia were varied and all were interesting and friendly. Thankfully the fires were not threatening Sydney or Melbourne while we were there. I wish them well as the fires have gotten worse. The visit to Tasmania was even better. The Fiordlands NP was great, but I wondered why the sites visited were so far apart. ...

It was a xmas cruise and was australia tasmania and new zealand. would have done 3 days in bay of islands at the end of our cruise if we had been aware. Lack of signage on stairwell and floors. theatre too small and countless passengers were reserving seats. Great experience in da vinci. Buffet could of had better selection of hot vegetables. disappointing in lack of xmas food. No cherries. ...

This was our first cruise. I had read a lot about the no goes and experiences made by others. My and family and I are definitely very positive about our first experience. The 14 days went in a blink of an eye. The ship has a great team and everybody is welcoming and carrying. The team is the dining room was very nice and was always supportive and friendly. You find that not in always in ...

I love Princess , but had never done a Christmas New Year Cruise so I done three back to back. 13/12/19 - 13/01/20 This turned out to be more of a P&O Australia Cruise . The Low quality and not the usual expectation from Princess. This surprised me as there were a lot of Americans on board who usually expect more. Sadly as the cruise progressed each segment the more disappointed I ...

. Destinations of Melbourne and Tasmania were great ports to visit. . Ship was modern and clean. . A lack of lounges for that quiet drink and read. . Mini suite cabin excellent. Very small balcony. . All restaurants good except for Sur La Mer French restaurant. Obviously a bar area converted to a restaurant. Atmosphere and ambience non existent. Nil table cloths. A main ...

We wanted to do a cruise within Australia and this 8 day cruise was surprising in so many ways. The Atrium was beautifully decorated with Xmas decorations, which made it even more impressive than usual. The quality and variety of the food was outstanding and we loved all the french pastries that were added since our last cruise. We had not been to Hobart before, and as the ship docks right in ...

Good mouth of mouth about your company Good value for the service provided The open cinema is state of the art The public area is not congested The food service is diversified and multicultural The mandatory grand washing before entering the dining hall is very EFFECTIVE in preventing food poisoning I noticed there us a staff shortage in the watering team. Used cutleries ...

My 12th cruise with Princess, sadly my last one in any of the Princess ships constructed from the Majestic Princess onwards from 2017. The good points. Excellent service, mostly excellent food, good attitude by almost all of the crew I encountered, ship in excellent condition, a good variety and great level of entertainment throughout the ship. The stateroom, mini suite, was fine and the on ...
