Started great. Then both of us caught Bug Boat sickness. Tons of coughing people, medical centre very busy.

Princess platinum member. 11th cruise overall. Ship was new and beautiful. Staff were great. We had a stern balcony cabin, it had exhaust soot on the balcony everyday. Sensor light by bathroom came on during the night. No fix, just tape over it. It still woke us up, very poor set up. 14 nights of it. Dining room dress standard has slipped. T shirts ball caps whatever goes. Food was good, ...

Disappointing,

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Regal Princess

This cruise was chosen by friends and was my first experience with Princess. I suspect it will be my last. I was interested to cruise on Princess after bumping into a couple who had never cruised with any lines and loved the company. I can’t say I share their enthusiasm. I found the veranda stateroom cramped. We have always booked verandas no matter which company we cruise with, so I can ...

SOOO disappointed

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Emerald Princess

We chose this cruise for the destination, but sadly the Emerald Princess quickly became a disappointment. Lack of entertainment, sub-par food, and horrible dining room attire rules. Nice shorts and shirt NOT acceptable but jeans and sports jersey's are acceptable on a Formal night. NO entertainment pool side on either sea days. They turned the music on for ice-carving then quickly turned ...

See a few things but experience none

Excursions too rushed and actually didn't see anything properly and definitely did not have the experience expected. Summary - 'Been there seen that' - Not 'Been there and done that'. Embarkation and disembarking were very well organised and efficient. Cleanliness was high and service from our steward was excellent. No issue service wise. Food was basically the same form day to day ...

Expectations were too high for a mediocre and disappointing experience

I'll start by saying that we are a family of 4 adults who only chose Princess based on the ports of call in the Mediterranean. It was chosen for Santorini and Naples, in August where other lines did one but not the other. We have cruised before, one of which was a similar Mediterranean cruise but different ports. I'll start with the positives. The food and bar staff are exceptional, their ...

Our very first complaint with Princess

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Royal Princess

WE have sailed with Princess for decades - always stellar experiences in every respect. This past cruise was a disaster, in that, we had a staff working area across the hall from our room on the Baja deck and were wakened several times each night with loud banging - like metal trolleys or pots and pans etc. This was the standard of sound proofing on an otherwise beautiful NEW ship. The staff ...

We chose this cruise because we sailed princess in 2013 and really enjoyed the food and entertainment. We waited for the Royal because the balcony rooms have sofa beds and we were traveling with our son. Positive:lots of movie choices in stateroom, gym not crowded (not sure if this is because no air conditioning for several days), you don't have to sign for towels, usually could find a chair ...

when you make a complaint, you expect to be listened to? 1) boarded on the Saturday and balcony area and glass were dirty - at first I thought the glass was frosted??!! 2) rear deck on boat (deck 17 ) was filthy - a day at sea and noticed stained decks and loungers. 3) formal night - we chose not to attend as ive had more black tie events than I care to mention and didn't want to cart my ...

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Majestic Princess

Have done tens of long European cruises with Princess in the past and this one has me rethinking in the future. The ship was shiny and new which was great. Problem is that allot of the choices in building make this a ship to avoid. We did a Mediterranean cruise and given this ship was created for the Asian market there were allot of Asian people on board. I mention this because it didn't ...

well we normally cruise the pacific but we also travel a lot to Europe so we took a royal princess cruise, from the time of booking the itinerary was changed 4 times 2 of the changes happen while on ship ,some of the ports of call that were remove had nothing to do with any problems accruing in that port of call . we booked any time dinning which in my book means that you arrive at any time and ...
