Living room, private balcony, king-size bed, a double sofa bed and double murphy bed (only on SF & SH), CD/DVD library, walk-in-closet and bath and shower (except in wheelchair-accessible staterooms). Butler service and concierge available.
We typically cruise every other year, and when we cruise we stay in a suite. We like to relax and have a week of just being taken care of. We were told the suites were just refurbished. You really couldn't tell that by me. The floors in the shower were cracked and the toilet have a hard time flushing. The latches on the closets didn't stay firmly in place so the nights the seas were rough the closet doors swing open and closed all night which was annoying. The bed is very tall so if you're short you may need to take a running start. Read entire member review >>
Roomy, great balcony facing aft. Like having your own private cabana at the pool. Do bring some room spray for the lav as some not so aromatic fumes do back into the toilet area from two wierd floor sewer vents behind the toilet. Edwin (Cabin Steward) is great! Susana (supposed butler) and Chris (supposed concierge).....nuff said. Read entire member review >>
This was our first experience with a penthouse with large balcony. Storage space was more than adequate except for the hanging closets. The design for the push-to-open doors on these closets was faulty. Once you gave it the little push, there was no way to pull it open. You could see the fingernail marks were people had tried to open it like trying to claw out of a casket. There was no hook in the bathroom to hang an in-use hand towel. A second chair would have been a welcome addition. Read entire member review >>
Overlooked the pool. Fun to sit and people watch. Loved room location.
Book direct with NCL.
Book a balcony early. Watch on line. Upgrade to suite 3-4 weeks out when close to capacity and prices drop. Read entire member review >>
So glad these were refurbished a couple years ago. The pictures on the NCL website need to be updated. Those old cabins were hideous. Huge balcony, very large bathroom with two sinks and jetted tub. Robes, slippers and umbrella provided. The cabin was a good size with a comfortable king bed. These cabins can sleep up to six with the sofa and Murphy beds but that would be crowded. Butler and concierge service very nice. Bulgaria creams, shower gel and lip balm in bath along with cotton balls and q-tips. Be warned; only one plug-in and it's up high! Read entire member review >>
Absolutely perfect. Not one complaint. Hard to understand location on Deck 13 because they are called Aft cabins but they are forward cabins facing aft overlooking the pool with the stack impeding the view. Rooms totally soundproofed and views still spectacular out back. LOVED these suites. Read entire member review >>
I booked a Penthouse Suite with a large balcony deck 11, mid-ship. The large balcony was great. The room was centrally located, quiet and offered plenty of room.
A perk for suites owners is access to Cagney’s restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Service is exceptional and the food is superb. Read entire member review >>
Wonderful !! Nice large balcony. Saw whales in Maui, double rainbow in Kona dolphins in Hilo. Amanda our butler served us dinner on our balcony one night. She was wonderful. Read entire member review >>
Highly recommend the suite. We have always had a stateroom with balcony and concierge service in past cruises, but upgraded to a suite for this trip. So worth it - the space, the special breakfast and lunch options at Cagney's for no additional cost, and the service of a butler and concierge. We'll probably always try to get a suite in the future if we can afford it, especially for a long cruise (7+ days). The suite was exactly as pictured on the website and the dressing room w/desk and lots of storage was a nice surprise. The balcony had 2 lounges and a full-size found table with chairs, so enjoyed sitting outside and eating breakfast some days and having drinks in the evening. Read entire member review >>
Large, spacious but the ceiling corner squeaked (upper right corner over bed) when the ship was moving. It took two days for maintenance to arrive. They reduced the squeak but it was still there. So, in the middle of the night, DH was pounding the room cork screw in the crack with his bottom of his shoe. There are now black heel marks on the ceiling. Don't stay in this room! Beautiful, larger penthouse category room. Large balcony with two cushioned wicker loungers and a wicker table with four chairs for dining. On the 12th deck just down the hall from the upper pool deck and bar. At this bar they serve a lunch buffet - you can bring the food to your private balcony to stay away from the masses. The room is also at the end of the hall, no foot traffic passing by - very quiet! Read entire member review >>
A nice suite, but everything is dated. I trust the ship is scheduled for dry dock soon. The furniture is showing wear and the bathroom was missing a sliding door for the water closet. The suite comes with nice perks like prompt breakfast service in the room (via butler)and a private dining room for breakfast and lunch. The suite concierge is helpful also. The rooms are huge. There is ample storage. Never any hallway noise. The only time you know you have neighbors is when you are on the balcony. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 10008. Great penthouse with large balcony cabin. Large well appointed room with lots of storage space. The balcony is huge and not too windy. A nice space to sit and have a drink and visit with friends. Really nice cabin! Read entire member review >>
Great location. Starboard forward. You can hear the neighbors when on the balcony (especially when they are the loud family). Starboard is good views in ports (still a harbor). Hononlulu dockside but fun to watch the activity. Other ports were better views except Kaue. Overlooked industrial area and no where close to walk to.
Huge bed with night light switches on either side. I think they turn off automatically after a few hours.
Had to use an extention cord for my cpap machine.
Not just bath towels, but bath blankets. Oh my.
Lot's of drawers and room to hang things. Suitcases fit under the bed.
Didn't use the mini bar much.
And be prepared for your butler ringing the doorbell every afternoon with some kinf of special treat.
Lots of light switches. Recomend trying them all ASAP so you can find everything. Lots of outlets for our chargers.
Love the coffee machine. Have the butler bring you some extra of your favorite flavors.
We had such a great time we would like to do it again - Back to Back! Read entire member review >>
Cabin was nice, very nice starboard balcony (starboard has best views of Maui, Haleakala lava flow & Kauai coastline), few things needed repair. No clock in our room, shower doors didn't close all the way, other minor things. Very happy that we had opted for the bigger room, as we are more private people, and it was good to have enough space to get away from the public and not be climbing all over each other in tiny cabin.
